What started out as something that I thought would be a novelty item is something that I now use every single day. I set my alarms, play my podcasts and music, and ask it basic questions about my day. Great product

voice recognition and response better then anticipated. ability to play music from phone. activation command ability of "hey google" excellent thought as it would not interfere with phone command. love this product.

My family absolutely loves Google Home! I go to sleep listening to music and wake up saying "hey Google play music to wake up to" My wife uses it for recipes my son for Sport Trivia and I listen to the daily news.

I used to be an Alexa user but found the echo to get lacking in the overall integration of my day. Home is the best option if you are a Google power user. I now have three; bedroom, living room and home office.

I bought this for my son so that he would have a speaker to cast music to from his android phone in his room. He loves it and it sounds really good.

I find this product a great addition to the family

I had a mini in the kitchen and upgrade to the home. Happy I did cus the sound is much better when listening to music, podcasts or receipts. Honestly the music quality (70's rock n roll) is darn good.

Excellent device. Even before I picked up some of the connected home type items. Got to get news, the madlibs game is entertaining, Now that I've picked up a harmony hub and a nest, things get even better.

This is a great device and worked very well, but we've had Alexa for some time and I wanted to just compare the two to see what the differences were. Turns out, not much. Besides its natural ability to recite fact and information back to you with much more detail than Alexa, we found that not worth it being that we could just use our phones/PC's anyways. Also found the music playback to be subpar vs. Alexa and we do have smart lights that we use this device to control but, again, it doesn't do it better than Alexa so we found ourselves asking - what's the point? If you don't have either, this will serve you well, but coming from Alexa and her growing capabilities we preferred to just stick with what we know. I'l give it 4 stars, but 3.5 is more what it should be.
