I have had this speaker for a month now and it was 100% worth it. Not everyone needs all the high end that this speaker provides and the sound quality. I was completely surprised at how it works. You have the option to use WiFi or Bluetooth. I would recommend anyone to buy this speaker.

This is a great sounding speaker for the price that I received over Black Friday. I own a few different personal assistant devices and I like this one the most. Only complaints is the skills aren't really out there is massive numbers. It seems kinda limited at the moment compared to Amazon devices.

One of my favorite black Friday purchases so far. My 5 year old likes to ask what everything in Spanish is and it responds in voice, where the echo sends to ap...speaker quality is rich and deep, and I use this way more than i thought I would, but my kid gets the biggest kick out of it!

I know Google Home is a little behind Amazon in terms of integration, but Google Home is way more compatible with every day life. I had the Echo for about 20 days, before returning it. It was great for ordering items from Amazon and getting things like news and weather. But no matter what I did, it would not allow Pandora to be the default player. It cannot do simple "web" searches. Enter Google Home. Simple flip of a switch and Pandora is the default player. Want to ask it to search the web for something? Easy. The couple of things I do have around the house that are "smart" are easily integrated with Google Home. And the sound quality is astonishing...

Got this as a promotion with our appliances. Honestly didn't think much of it at first but helps a lot with simply questions like how the weather is looking. Also linked it to our pandora account and can play music while we are cooking in the kitchen. Easy to setup and a great product.

The stepping stone to home automation

By far the best smart home automation devices on the market. It centralizes itself as a hub for other Smart products that you can buy for your home. If it does not support the smart device, you can use it in conjunction with IFTTT. I have this running with Philips Hue for my lights. I have other products on my list for the future that I want to test out. But this is great for morning news as I get ready for work. Cast audio to my Audio Chromecast/Onyx Speaker, or Youtube to my Chromecast/TV. I can even check the status of my NEST fire alarm. So many things that can be done with this single product. Yet they are still evolving it into something great than HAL9000.

I literally use my google home everyday. I setup alarms to wake up and timers when cooking. I ask google how to spell and provide definitions. I also used google to turn on my lights and turn on tv using netflix. Google is great for kids, games, questions and playing music as well.

This is what I was waiting for. I am not all into the Amazon world as much as others, so Alexa didn't appeal to me as much as others. This is google, who knows more about you than google? It works well, sounds good. I can play music on it (or my devices), get answers, play games, and turn my hue lights on or off. Yes, Alexa does more.....for now. Google will add more skills much quicker though. I am happy and as it gets updates and gets better, I'lll get happier.

The associate at customer service was quite helpful as most usually are. The Google Home was purchased for myself as a trial for future purchases. It was easily setup and connected for usage and experimenting to see the range of possibilities. So far it has met present expectations.

I purchases several Google Home units and these are setup around the home to make it easy to ask Google things, play music, broadcast messages, and control lights and things. I also have an Amazon Echo and I think the Google Home is better at searching and responding to questions.

I have primarily used this for streaming music so far, but the sound quality in this little speaker is great! I love not having to access my phone to change the volume or songs. I have a hard time getting it to play specific songs, but it will play stations related to the artists.

I have the Echo Dot, Google Assistant and the Google Mini. It seems though I can ask Google to do things more in natural way without putting too much thought into it. With Alexa, it is hit and miss and I find myself asking it in a different way until I say it in a way it likes.

Love that you can control your television, YouTube TV, lighting and Netflix with your voice in ways the apps don't. Simply say, "okay google skip forward 3 minutes," and never watch a commercial again! Controls the lighting in my whole home. Love the product and Best Buy support!

    Good Interactive System

I have the Amazon Echo and recently got the Google Home. Overall, they are very comparable to each other. I think the Google Home is easier to 'talk to' than the Echo. With Echo, you have to say things specifically for the system to understand you where Google Home is much more forgiving. The Google Home talks much faster than the Echo and doesn't confirm a request. For example, if you ask Echo to start a 10 minute timer, the system will reply that a 10 minute timer has started where the Google model does not. The Google sound system is much better than the Echo in my opinion. Overall, if you like Google and droid based systems, this is a natural next purchase to make.

I was reluctant to try this out as everything in my home was tied into the apple home-kit. I really like it however, and have since purchased a second and utilize it as a feature with my Nvidia shield. I would absolutely recommend this along with learning IFTTT to maximize its usefulness.
