Mom loves it! East to set up. Easy to use. Great gift idea. Be prepared to purchase multiple accessories in order to use it, but well worth it.

I am an avid Android user and have never like iPhones or apple anything for that matter. That being said this was a perfect addition to our home. With a few more simple additions we will be cutting the cable. This is just the beginning in a process to becoming a smarter cheaper home. The only reason it doesn't have a five star is its lack of information as of yet. Obviously it's a new product and software updates will roll out I'm sure in the near future but as of now information is limited. As well as connectivity. I have faith in Google and their products so I feel it won't be much longer.

Easy to use and fun to get answers on the spot for a large variety of subjects. Setting alarms and timers is fast and easy and always correct.

Love it. Can play any goggle music or get pandora to play albums of your favorite music. My wife likes to play easy listening while working on crafts.

Google Home seems to be well designed: the microphone works well, and the touch sensitive volume control/lights on the top are quite unique. It usually hears your query and processes it quickly. But it's missing features, and I was constantly hitting the 'Sorry, I can't do this yet' message. And that was with what I'd consider fairly basic queries like 'What movies are showing?' or 'What are the ratings for <movie>?' I mean, Google itself (and Siri) can answer these so I don't understand why Google Home choked. I was also a little disappointed with some of the commands - I was unable to cast a video to my tv until I conformed exactly with the syntax Google Home required. It wasn't as intuitive as I wished it had been. You have to say 'Play <video> from <app name> to <Chrome Cast name>' and the order was critical. Then there were also times it just flat out didn't work. The pause command (after casting a video to the tv) just stopped working after the first or second time and I couldn't figure out why. It heard the request and seemed to be carrying it out, but nothing happened. I double-checked the syntax several times and I was definitely saying it correctly. Casted music also seemed to just stop playing after a few tracks for no reason, even though I asked to play a genre from Google Music. Then there were times that Google Home would stop playing what I told it to cast, and continue playing something from an earlier request on its internal speaker. Weird. I also had several times I'd ask to turn off/on the lights (with Phillips Hue), Google Home would say 'OK', but then nothing would happen. I haven't had this much trouble doing the same command through Siri (and also Siri supports way more Hue commands than Google Home). So, despite the nice hardware and some features I did like (casting to Chrome Cast for one) I ended up returning it. It still seems half-baked to me.

Much more flexible than Siri and alexa. Very handy for routine questions and simple requests. First step in home automation and life simplification

I bought the Google Home for my wife and she really likes it. However, the entire family including my 6 year old granddaughter uses it on a daily basis.

Easy setup and works well. This was a present for my wife and she really enjoys it. She uses it to play her type of music and for cooking tips/

Our Google Home is a great little addition to our living room. I am looking forward to updates and third party participation that I am is just around the corner.

I like it but still waiting for more software updates and hopefully it will be equal or bypass Amazon Echo for product compatibility. For now, I need to use IFTT to be able to use the Find My Phone for Iphone. I would like to rate it 5 but probably not yet and hopefully they update the software because having 2 Google Home at home I am tempted to purchase Amazon Echo for compatibility.

Can't imagine life without this now. Works great with hue lights. Google search engine is great for questions and facts. Powerful sound and sleek look.

Our family enjoys having Google Home around. Can't tell you hiw many times a day we each say "OK Google". Fun and usefull for all. Easy setup a plus.

sound is really great. bass sound is more than i was expecting. you can connect all your smart devices to google as Samsung and nest

I really like the Google Home. She's smart and fun. Sometimes she talks too fast and I think the speaker is a little too much bass but I'm glad I purchased it.

I also have an Amazon Echo, and I have to say, I like the Google Home better. Prior to purchasing the Google Home, I was already using Google Play Music. I love the tight integration of services like Play Music. I also like how it acts like a Chromecast Audio and I can cast other apps to it, as well as it can cast videos to my Chromecast or Nexus Player. Web searches are also more accurate than Alexa. Google Home may not have as many 3rd party integrations as the Echo, but one big integration is IFTTT which virtually fills in the rest of the holes. Well done Google.

This is a great portable device for music. Great sound quality. It is fun to ask crazy questions and a good start to make your home more tech savvy.

I primarily use Google home as a weather app, email reading app and to ask basic questions for which I would have used google search engine in the past. Google biggest advantage is speech recognition where it has a leg up compared to its rival Amazon Echo. I have both and found that Google Home is much easier to use due to better speech recognition. Only disadvantage of Google Home is lack of support for various 3rd party apps which Amazon has done a great job. I do hope Google would develop a good universe of apps in future but Google Home is good purchase for me.

We love our Google Home so much we bought two. It is easy to set up and connect services. Next I will be buying smart home devices to control with Home.
