I did extensive reviews comparing Google Home and Amazon's Echo. Long-term Google Home will overtake Alexa! Love the size compared to Alexa as well.

Easy set up , fast response when seeking answers. The sound of music is great from any music source. Pair it with the app IFTTT to do more. love it.

Google Home works great for me because I don't have to surf the web. I like the ease of asking Google a question and getting an accurate response.

My wife and I love being able to ask for recipes, set timers, listen to music, control lighting. This product it's pretty groovy!

I currently own the Amazon Echo, several Echo Dots, Hue Lights, Nest, Belkin Wemo Switches, & Logitech Harmony Remotes. They've all worked well with the Echo. And I've been enjoying an automated home. However, Alexa actually understanding what I say is very inconsistent at times. Maybe it's just me. So I decided to give Google Home a try. It succeeds where Echo fails. It understands me better. The good... design, chromecast, and broader range of voice interaction. The bad... not nearly as compatible with other home automation devices and mini google homes (like echo dot).

Speakers are load enough and clear, for both spoken answers and music. Unit picks up our voices easily-- very few repeats needed. It is very smart.

I bought Google Home not knowing how well it would stack up against the echo. Fuctionality is good but Im really awaiting future updates like custom actions.

The home is a great accessory to your house and I love mine. There are still a few limitations when compared to Alexa, but I think Google will have it all figured out in time. I like that out of the box the Home could pair with chromecast and would cast when I requested via youtube - I really hope that functionality expands to other channels/apps in the future as that alone puts Home over the Alexa in terms of what I want out of a home assistant device. Also note: you do need a $10 monthly subscription to YouTube Red (which pairs with google music) to fully enjoy the Home.

Ita simple to set up and easy to use. I like that you don't have to phrase questions a certain way like you do with the echo.

This item is a very good purchase. I usually ask for weather and some news in the morning and I use it to play some music when not watching tv.

Awesome speaker and blows the mini out of the water. Not even close on sound quality.
