I like a lot my google assistant, we use daily for school, music, control devices and much more.

Couldn't be more pleased with Google Home. The whole family loves it including my 16 year old. It is fun and educational for all age groups.

Overall, my wife and I are fans. The speaker has a lot more volume clarity than some of the other reviews let on. We don't even have the volume turned up half way and we still are able to hear the music clearly through most of our main floor. The access to Google's info database is a obvious pro. Streaming music and casting video's is pretty seamless. Where the last two lack is the inability to precisely recognize what you're looking for. This is frustrating considering I have a paid Google Play subscription. Once again, we're fans and looking forward to updates.

A good first gen for the Google Home. Does the basics well: such as conversions, setting an alarm/timer, asking a question, etc. The Google Assistant has good context on your conversations (much better than the Echo in this case). However, lacks in certain areas such as reminders. You can, however, set up your own IFTTT rules to make those things work. I like that it works with my Chromecasts so I can play videos onto my TV. However, it is a little clunky sometimes in terms of the words you have to say to make it play a YouTube video on a certain TV.

I really enjoy home. It works well with other components I already owned. It's also fun for the children as they ask it questions that are infomative.

Love, ok google, with just a couple of words google plays my playlist of music when I get home or when I want to listen to the news. Love it

Let me start off by saying that I was looking for a speaker so that I could play music stored on my Apple Air. I started off by purchasing Alexa after meeting "her" at a friend's home. Neat toy, but it wouldn't communicate with my Air. So I tried Google Home. Home seems more intelligent than Alexa and the link to Google Maps is terrific. An OK speaker, but it still wouldn't communicate to the Air unless I added ChromeCast. So I took it back and got a good, blue tooth speaker. One of these days, I'd like to play with Home again. Maybe we'll all be smarter by then.

Easy to use. Everything you would expect from Google in a handy voice controlled device. Looking forward to see what more will Google add to it.

Is my first device to have introduced to building my smart home. Very intuitive and has made home life a little bit simpler.

I love this product. It continues to "learn" with every software upgrade. This product integrates very well with other devices, such as nest.

Great product, still needs a little work. ECHO has more functionality so Google needs to work hard. In the end, Google should beat ECHO and Dot

After doing my research, I decided to with Google Home instead of Amazon Echo. I got two of them, one for the bedroom and one for the living room and I love them. The only downside is the fact that they are fairly new and don't have support for a lot of vendors, they only come with Nest, Hue and Samsung Smartthings. I suppose that's normal since it just came out, and Google opened their software for vendors compatibility last month I believe so that will make a great device even greater. Probably one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Great alternative to Alexa - bit speedier and responsive - sounds better - not as much support to third party stuff - and no phone call support yet

My family has had a lot of fun with this from telling it to cast shows on our tv to playing music. Additionally, it has some fun games and can tell you the weather. The major flaw at this point is that there aren't enough 3rd party integrations, once those are taken care of this product will go from good to great. Also one more note we don't have things like the Nest and other smart home items so having those could also potentially up the value of this product. Either way it is a fun product that with updates should end up being an amazing product.

Got this for my parents for Christmas. They have been having so much fun asking google to play things for them.. from miles Davis to Gucci mane

Don't do amazon and have the nest thermostat so this made sense. On sale too so had to jump. Great sounding speaker with tons of functions.

Sound is amazing. I use this thing daily without even thinking about it. We now have a google homes, two minis and a max.

Works great for playing music from Pandora. I think it will much better in the future when more features and functions are added. Music sounds great!

We love our google home. We use it from everything to ask the weather to playing music. So easy and convenient. A must in every house.

I've used an Amazon Echo for six months but the Google version is much better. The sound quality is nicer, it's faster, and I get more answers.
