This speaker/google home is such a great deal. Awesome sound and looks nice on the book shelf

I love this product. The sound is great. You do have to sign up to utube or pandora to play music. Will not play iTunes from the phone

I love my Google Home. I use it everyday to check the weather and news. It also has a great stereo sound for music.

This is a must item to have around the house for every age, there is almost an unlimited amount of tasks you can ask it to do

It’s still learning so it can’t answer much. WARNING, it’s always listening and will respond when not prompted. However, it’s a cool gadget. The kids ask for jokes all the time.

For someone fully invested in Google products, this is a must have. The connectable services aren't yet as rich as the Amazon Echo, but Google has released their support for adding third-party connections so it's not long off. My biggest complaint is the lack of support for multiple accounts per device. To be a smart home device, it is pretty important to be able to support multiple family members. It's not a major issue but is a missing feature. Luckily updates are simple so I'm looking forward to that being fixed in the future as well.

This was so easy to setup, my wife did it herself. Everyone in the family loves it. Just waiting on a few more apps to be able to add.

It was easy to connect and start using. The kids have a lot of fun asking silly questions. I enjoy the quick weather updates.

We use it regularly. It helps decide many debates between me and my wife. It is also a great way to relax and enjoy my favorite music

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. We don't have a smart house but we use google a lot and love to play music. Glad we got it

I already have an Echo (and echo dot) but got the google home to compare the two. As of Dec 2016, Echo wins hands down. Echo works with many more products and provides extra deals through Amazon. Google home is not bad but has very limited functionality outside of googles own products (e.g., can control nest thermostat but not ecobee 3). The home has the ability to use chromecast to push videos and audio to connected devices which is a feature amazon's device doesn't have but it's hard to select a specific video and only works off of youtube. Audio is good but don't expect audiophile quality. Echo gets louder but otherwise speakers are similar. Speaking with the home was a little more fluid and it could answer a few more questions than Alexa could via echo but there were still a ton of questions that ended in basically a 'i can't do that yet' response. What was troublesome for me for the google home is that when i asked for a news update it gave me a sponsored ad first, Echo just goes straight to it. Ironically the NPR news flash is slightly different with each and i honestly prefer Amazons more. Google home will become more compatible with other devices but as of right now it's clearly struggling and Echo is also continually expanding its functionality. If you're in the market for these i would recommend Amazon's product for now unless you really want this for voice control of youtube and music to devices you already have connects to a chromecast. Otherwise an amazon echo or echo dot are simply more functional. In the future i have no doubt that this product will get better but as of right now it's a little too far behind the amazon devices tobe in the race

So I've already got three of these at my house. I just bought one for my office. Handy for asking questions and listening to music.

Everyone is different but I would hands down chose Google over Alexa. Google to me seems to have more options and features. Somethings are the same while some are different. My mom uses Alexa and seems to always have problems. Either she isnt paying attention or just doesnt understand what she is asking. Of inask my Google something I rarely get a message that ot doesnt understand . Love my Google I also like the design cant wait to purchase another one

My son uses it in his room. The best part is I don’t have to enter his room to turn on/off his fish tank light.

I am not convinced that this is the best of breed device between google Siri and Alexa however it was free with my appliance purchase and for costing me nothing I find it useful
