My house is full of Google home minis and echo dots and this is a great device to look all my minis. Picks up sounds amazingly and unless I want to listen to my books on audible it Kindle, I go to my Google home

Fun, Fun, Fun, interacts with us with trivia questions, can translate English to foreign languages and has a fantastic sound speaker. Use it every morning for current weather, traffic and news reports.

I was excited to give grand daughter;s family the Google voice activated speaker and it seemed easy for them to set up....Right away they got Christmas music and had Google adjusting sound up or down...Groovy!

I am already deeply embedded in the google/android ecosystem so I am already predisposed to liking this device. I also own an Amazon Echo (bought it first) and found my self using google more often. Easier to set up my smart home with the device. Works great with my chromecast audio to cast music throughout my home. I chose to buy a second Google home because I felt I needed to have a device on each floor of my home - I use Alex on the floor that I spend the least amount of time.

While there are concerns within the family to keep it on all the time, we love it and find its use better and better the more effective we are asking it questions the right way. A wonderful addition.

Just now scratching the surface with what google home can do. Love the new broadcast feature that basically turns my google home and minis into an intercom system. Speaker is great! Easy to set up.

The Google Home has been a fun product so far. It plays the music I ask to hear, and it turns on the lights. Occasionally, it responds to an ad on TV for Google products, and once it started to play music at high volume, completely unprompted, and really scared my neighbor and me , who were talking in another room. It often reminds me that it is still learning which , I suppose, makes us even. By all means buy this product. It is a welcome addition to my home.

Google Home comes in handy for a number of things you can do in an instant. The price point was great for Black Friday sale. Only downside is that the speaker isn’t better quality, but well worth the price.

I bought this really as a gag gift to myself but have found it very useful. I keep the one unit close to my recliner. It is invaluable when watching an old movie or such and you can't remember an actor's real name. As it knows my geo-location it is ideal for trio planning, "Hey Google, how far to...". Great for a kitchen timer too. Can't wait to start adding controllable lighting in my house so I can use it for home automation. Ideal for filling empty moments with music. Finding new uses every day.

We have 4 of the Google Home products - 2 mini and 2 fullsize ones. We love using them to connect to various rooms in the house, so when we need to have the kids come downstairs to dinner, we can broadcast to all the Google Homes instead of yelling for them to come down. I love being able to get instant answers on the current or forecadt weather, time updates, and setting alarms. Of course asking it questions for info is also entertaining and informative.

This is a great device to have handy in the kitchen. Each of us can play our favorite music, set a timer, ask questions about science or movie trivia, or just play a game. All hands free and easy.

We were actually given this product as a promotion for buying a washer and dryer. At first we weren't sure if it would even be useful to us. Now we find ourselves using it at least a couple of times a day.

I had big reservations about having an always on mic in the house. But according to other folks there aren't any outside connections until the wake word was spoken. For music it's very bass heavy and puts out a good amount for such a little speaker. But it's also muffled on the mids and highs - there's only one Mid-sub and no tweeter. It does have a hard time hearing me sometimes though. I have to wake it with a higher pitched voice for it to acknowledge me (I gotta do the same at drive thru's or they can't hear me). So deeper voiced guys (maybe gals too) may have a hard time waking it up. I've barely scratched the surface on what this thing can do so I'm off to reading more about hidden gems with this unit.

This product is very good to convert your usual activities like “switching on/off tv” to voice commands. It also great in answering many trivial questions that you come across on any typical day!

Easy to set up and easy to use. Bought this for a older parent who loves to listen to music. They also need some extra help remembering things at times so the schedule reminders are very helpful.

I am very pleased of how my google home speaker works, basic instructions and simple operations are offered to non-tech end-users to get immediate fun. Everyday I am getting something new from it.

best smart home speaker there is IMHO. love the seamless set-up and multi unit symmetry. we have multiple units in our home and they work flawlessly together. love the ability to control all units on my smartphone. Sound is much better on this unit than the Home Mini and the apps equalizer is a nice way to adjust to your liking. It's also nice to be able to stream free music from Pandora or Goggle Music, as opposed to a required paid membership like AP.

I have the Alexa and the Google, each has its' strong and weak points but together they make the complete package.This is unsurpassed for its' ability to get information across the spectrum of knowledge.

Received this as a gift a few months ago and now bought one for my parents. It is so easy to operate and now their curious questions can be answered by just saying "hey Google". Great product.
