Google way better then Amazon Echo. Think of it like this....when you go online to do research do you use Bing which runs (Amazon Echo) or do you use Google as your search engine? Google wins.

I've compared this speaker to my Bose Soundlink Color II, and I truly feel it has better sound quality. Add that to all the different things you can do with this device, I highly recommend it.

It’s cool and had a quality speaker built in. I can tell it to put on a show on my TV from Netflix and it turns my TV on and puts the show on I want. I’m still a little leery about it always listening.

I bought the Google Home as a Christmas present for the family. It was the first package opened and was quickly set up and provided an abundance of Holiday music while opening other presents!

The Google Home Smart speaker has got all the amazing features to amaze you . The sound quality is significantly better than the Google Home mini . The microphone is pretty receptive and can literally hear you even when you are in other room (Of course , door has to remain open :) ) Once you pair the speaker with the Google Home and Assistant , there are numerous things that you can do with the speaker. You can ask it to listen to any song (provided you signed into any music service like Spotify ,etc ) , ask the weather report , set timers, alarms, ask it to play your favorite show on Netflix on Chromecast, get realtime traffic update and ETA for the travel . Since it is made by google, it uses the same comprehensive google search engine for all the voice searches. It does the currency conversion , unit conversion , tells you time in specific country , reads you news, etc. There is a touch control on the top of speaker which can be used to control the volume , play/pause music , etc . You can turn off the mic if needed using the dedicated mic button. You can also configure it to setup the morning and bedtime routines, can use it to turn on/off the smart lights. There are literally countless things that can be done using this smart speaker. It is a marvelous technology !! This is a must have for people who love technology ....

This product has a long way to go to catch up to Amazon's Alexa, but Goggle is definitely making strides to close that gap. We hooked our Phillips Hue lights up to our Google Home and they work great!

We've had an Echo for a year and I decided to get the Google Home to compare. I like the user friendliness of the Google much more, it seems to understand better and gets the answers I need.

I was hoping this would be leaps and bounds ahead of Amazon Echo at least in terms of being able to answer questions. It's better, but not by much. Sound quality isn't any better, either. If you have Amazon Prime, stick with Echo for its music playback with Prime music. If not, this is definitely better as it's cheaper than Echo and slightly better for answering questions. It does more out of the box than Echo, but Echo can learn a lot of "skills". I would call it a draw.

Takes about 2 minutes to setup. Ask a question it answers. Tell it to play music and the room is filled with music. Ask the weather, the news, set a timer, cast a video to your TV and so on!

This was a bonus buy for me, but looking back, I absolutely do not regret the purchase! I love how it works, I appreciate it doing what I want, and I like getting my questions answered too!

Love! Love! Love the Google Home! Instead of watching so much tv, my husband and I enjoy doing things around the house while listening to our favorite music! Now, we want to add the mini's!

Goggle Home is the next gen of technology! It was very easy to set up. Pull it from the box, plug it in and it does the rest. I love that it syncs right up to all my goggle products. "Hey Goggle add bread to my grocery list" and its done! The speaker is good quality for music and does not distort at all. It doesn't however have an extremely high volume. But its perfect for my needs. I haven't linked any other products with it yet but plan to in the near future.

While the Google Home has a lot of good features, theres a lot of things lacking. I have the ability to ask about my schedule, check the traffic on my way to the office and my wife has the option as well. What's missing is a port on the back like the Echo has to be able to connect it to a much larger speaker. While the speakers are good, they're not great. There's so many better options coming out that are able to connect to the Home seamlessly (Marshal is rolling out some connected speakers that will connect easily). There's also a few times you ask Google a simple question and somethings she still can't help with. It's learning more each day and will be a great addition to anyones home.

The google home is the best smart home device out there if your in the google world. Works flawlessly with my Nest system around the house and is an amazing sounding speaker for its size.

Purchased on a whim. My home already had some items that were compatible ( thermostats, switches etc.). Pairing was simple( helps to have young 20 somethings at home) and straight forward.

I haven’t expected that sound clarity from it but it is exceptional. Bass is very good. Hope google allows all the speakers to connect in the near future (only chromecast builtin devices for now).

Easy to set up once you find the correct Home App. The instructions that come with it are not very clear. Obviously Google expects people to go to the App and not read the instructions.

Really enjoy it for the limited use I have for it now. Will incorporate Hue and Nest with it soon. I let my sons ask it a million questions and it keeps them occupied for a few minutes!

I️ chose the google home over Alex and for one main reason, google. My kids can ask it anything and google has an answer. It works great with chrome cast to voice activate tv. Love it!

love how i can ask it whatever and it will work. nice not having to "log in" when i want to play music. also cool when i need a answer to something and dont have to search it myself.
