The Google Home was easy to set-up once you have the app.loaded on your ipad or smartphone. Once it is setup, it was very easy to use and the Google Home respond very quick. The speaker on the other hand was alright. When you listen to music the bass is a little drown out and the tremble is alright. But overall, I would it is a great voice activated speaker.

Love this little guy! He plays music, I command him with all the automation I have in the house. He doesn't hear mewell though, I have the mini version as well and that one hears me as well, this one i have to repeat a few times. In retrospect I could just buy a bunch of minis and have something else play music. The minis have a speaker too... I don't know what else the mini can't do that this one can...

I use this all the time to ask questions, listen to music, control smart home features, etc. I love it and I'm looking at getting the minis for other areas of the house.

I already have Google Home Mini and Amazon Echo, but I heard this Google Home has the best speaker for music. I finally get this with a great price. Highly recommended.

I started with one and now I have three. Google home is useful in a million different ways. Speaker sounds great. I’m picky and hard on products but this one is great.

I bought the original Google Home to have a decent sounding speaker, and I think it does that totally fine. I didn't anticipate getting sucked into the ecosystem as much as I have. I now have several Home products and love them for the info, timers, alarms and other stuff like that. I especially love the home control integration. They are easy to set up and sync and the broadcast feature is really useful.

I have both the Alexa and Google home and it was much easier setting up the Google home then the Alexa. The sound is about the same quality But I think the Alexa might be a little better. My only complaint is that sometimes the Google home does not pick up the awake command and you have to say Hey Google A few times before it recognizes you. The app links to control my smart devices are easier to use than the Alexa app.

I've paired this with my Google account and the Phillips Hue lighting system to voice control my homes' lighting scenes. Makes a big difference in day to day life ;)

Google Home has been fun for the whole family especially my 13 year old son. Instead of taking time to look things up on the internet you can ask her and she will answer. However be aware she does not always know the answer to every question but it's interesting to see what she does know. We are just venturing into the products where she can help us turn on lights thermostats etc so we are looking forward to that. Overall a good product.

I only had myself to talk to, and now I have my Google Home. Seriously I think of it as my cooking assistant: play tunes, set timers, ask questions, and find recipes.

Used in my living room and hasn’t failed me yet. PROS: Plays music at an excellent sound and volume. Can tell you jokes when bored. CONS: Don’t have more of ‘em!

Fun product. Not perfect but it gets better all the time. Google is constantly improving and nothing I have to do on my end to get updates. It happens automatically. I had the Amazon Echo first but returned it. Our family like this much better. It does more and doesn't require a membership to Prime. Only a free Google Gmail account is all that is needed and when set up to use Google Chrome it makes this even more fun to own.

Bought the home after purchasing two mini's. Super useful for the random times when I need conversions and I love the broadcast feature! Great as a speaker as well.

Hey. wasn't really sure which way to go. google home or amzn alexa. feel i made the right choice. google way more efficient for info. amzn way better for wifi operated home devices. for me it's about communication and info...!!! think this speaker (this size in comparison) is better sounding. my opinion. could i live without it...yes...but is pretty handy for sure...works for me...!!!

So I like that it can answer more than my Amazon dot but it sucks at streaming Pandora. It will turn Pandora on but just randomly select different channels which is annoying

We bought this primarily for streaming Pandora, and it does a good job of that most of the time. Occasionally it doesn't seem to "hear" correctly for the specific station or where to cast, but we're either getting used to it or it's learning as we go. Having it handy to set a timer, tell us the weather for tomorrow, and other daily tasks is also great. The sound quality seems good for jazz, piano, classical and other quieter music, but fails miserably at most rock at anything but low volumes. (Imagine Dragons is a disaster on the Home!) We tried this and an Echo at the same time ... I prefer the interaction with Alexa better, but the fact that the Echo doesn't do wifi music steaming (only Bluetooth) was a deal breaker for what we wanted. The Google Home streams great to our Sony home theater receiver, our Sony wifi speaker, and other Cast-enable devices. We've tried the phone calling with it a couple of times and it makes a nice speakerphone alternative vs. a cell phone, so it will be great when they support phone number porting so we can move our home phone service over. Overall a good product ... even though it's a bit big-brother like if you're worried about that!

Until now I never felt like installing any kind of home automation. But with Google Home + Chromecast, binge watching your series or listening to music is a breeze.

This is the best item I’ve purchased in 2017. Paired with 3 additional Google Home mini’s allows us to have Google in every room to answer all our crazy questions.

Another GREAT Google product. Sensitive microphones, great sound and very useful for the family room. This is our second unit and soon to buy another for upstairs.

The setup is quick and easy, the interaction is simple and the variety of opportunities to use this are numerous. I would recommend this as a gift or for yourself.
