It is a nice new thing in the house and my daughter has great fun with it playing music and asking questions. It need some more features to become really useful though.

Not really a "techie," I can't say much, though I am willing to explore and learn what uses the Google Home may offer me in the long run.

Although possibly not better than echo for controlling attached device, it does a fine job answering questions, my preference is the Amazon Echo

I chose google home over alexa for 2 reasons. 1 the price was lower and 2 after watching Utube comparison vids. This is still all new to me but so far I like it.

Have owned one personally for over a year, and we use it everyday. My mother-in-law always comes over, and loves using it, so we bought one for her birthday.

Great device for just about anything. Get useful info to timers or alarms. But is google listening to me when not in use??

Almost too good! Love how it says, "i don't know how to answer that yet." if it doesn't know something.. to me that means it's still learning and I love that!

I use it mostly for information, haven't added too much home control things to it. Works pretty well with Chromecast, and controls my SmartThings very easily.

We bought one of these for each of our college daughters. They both really like it and there is definitely more useful features as they get more experienced using it.

Google home still have a lot to pick up. Not very responsive. You will need to name every device (e.g.: light bulb). Like the volume feature, it's pretty sweet.

Wildly intelligent and supremely versatile in the ways in which it can be used, Google Home is a solid smart speaker.

I bought as a gift for in laws and they love it so far. I use it when I visit and it's a nice little gadget that I may purchase for myself in the near future

Have not really used this thing that much I actually am not sure what use people get out of these things in their home

This was a gift to a dear friend who is not easily able to go out of her home easily due to vision impairment. She loves it and says it's very entertaining.

I've had this for a few years now and can say I use it daily, it does so much especially with all the updates its had since being released

We had the amazon echo for a year, but we're not impressed with the intuitiveness when asking questions and giving commands. Google is way more intuitive!

Google always gets it right the first time around. Only down fall I see for my self is that fact that I cannot read multiple calendars in Google calendar

Have enjoyed using Google Home. Doesn't know the answer to some common questions (and says "Sorry, I haven't learned that yet). Great for kids and families.

Google home is a great information resource. Provides music service, weather, sports, and news in a very timely and easy to access voice activated manner.

I like it. I had a bit of difficult setting it up at first that’s because of connected to different WiFi networks
