Got as a gift for my grandma because she refuses to learn how to use a computer and I feel bad that she can't google things. Like to me it's baffling that someone can live without googling things, and take so much time to read a book in the hopes it might have the information you need I had earlier convinced her to try Roku, where she loved Pandora. Luckily Pandora is also on Google Home so she can use it there too now She does often unplug it though and seems afraid to say the word "Google" now for fear of it listening lol. Not necessarily out of privacy reasons, but just not wanting it to respond to her I'm disappointed Google Home doesn't answer that many questions. Pretty much its advertisements make it look smarter than it really is; it can answer and do basic tasks but don't expect anything amazing. Same goes for Amazon Echo (and the Amazon Echo is capable of answering even fewer questions) I personally bought myself an Amazon Echo Dot. Often use Amazon, and don't need to google things via voice. I just use my phone or computer. The reason why I bought an Echo Dot was I liked its bluetooth feature. I prefer my personal music collection I've amassed over streaming services. Also I liked that the Echo Dot comes with a headphone jack and was reasonably priced to have as a fun throwaround item

We wanted to replace an Echo Dot that had failed after only 6 months. This does a better job at home automation than Alexa does. It understands more than the Alexa device does. It also will "Google" things for you, Alexa failed at that, you could Wikipedia things but I never figured out how to ask it for information that I would normally google.

Very easy to use and to install and connect devices for google to control throughout your home. Best purchase I’ve made this year

Google home is so easy to set up. It it backed by all the knowledge of Google, this is why I purchased this over the "other one"!

I love my google home! Can answer most questions intelligently but it’s a disappointment that it cannot access outlook calendar.

If you are already in the Google infrastructure with GMail, YouTube, Nest, and, Google Play; the Google Home is a fun and helpful addition to the home. Even more helpful if you already have some of the Home Automation features installed throughout your house. I often use it to play background music for quieter times around the house and during dinner.

The Google Home is a great device with excellent functionality. To have the power of the Google assistant with the sound of your voice is amazing. The built in speaker sounds good (a little more on the bass) and there's a few things that it can't do as of yet. With it only being out a couple of months, I look forward to the future updates Google will come out with.

Not so easy to set up for non-techies, but once done, it is easy to use. Voice is clear and easy to understand. Need one for every room!

Sound quality for surround is the best, easy to navigate with voice google commands and clear voice, pairing it with my smart phones and also with my google mini is easy and gives me the best sound when playing my music through Spotify and YouTube, worth every penny.

Hands down one of the greatest things I have ever bought. From controlling my home to listening to music. This thing is amazing.

Voice recognition is pretty good. Occasionally it gets confused and can't do what you've asked, but a little patience and rewording usually get the job done. It really gets confused when 3 kids talk to it at once, but then again so do I. I've integrated a SmartThings hub and Home understands my commands for the smart switches I have installed. Overall, a fun toy.

This is a useful device to have in the house, especially in the kitchen! I love using it to listen to music when I am cooking.

I loved the google home because it follows commands due to voice recognition and you can play different music while cooking etc.

Google home is the best I could buy. It is surprising the quality of sound and most surprising the speed of response. It is very easy to use that my mother of 90 years uses it perfectly looking for the information she requires, cooking recipes, music and information in general. It is recommended to have this device in the home and office

I have several Echos at my house and office and was reluctant to purchase the Home. I'm so glad I did. Loved it so much, I bought 2. My husband and I played Trivia with the Home last night and were hooked. Played it for more than an hour. Unlike the Echo, so far I have not been able to stump the Google Home. Has answered all my questions.
