I purchased the GH mostly on a whim. After connecting to multiple smart plugs, bulbs, Chromecast and Harmony Hub & Remote, I'd say this was a very good choice! I was on the outside looking in on the whole home automation thing - not any more. I think there may still be a ways to go to simplify the experience for some users. Pairing smart devices, in particular, is a chore - more on the smart device mfrs than Google - but it seems the Googs could assist to streamline the process.

Purchased for my daughter. We set it up right away to try it out. Way better than Alexa...smarter and speaker is great.

I bought this for my parents (50+) for an easy-to-use helper. They can ask Google basic questions like the weather, news, etc. They can play music just by asking. However Google Home is still lacking many features. It will not answer some questions and say "This feature is not available yet." Hopefully Google will be active in making updates.

Simple to set up and easy to use. Learning new things that it can do everyday. Easy to find your favorite music or internet radio station. We use it more than expected to search for information and to set timers and reminders. A real positive addition to our house for the price and we have only scratched the surface of its capabilities.

The speaker it’s great for home , I will be better if they add the Spanish lauguage as an option, for my wife!!! Lol !!

Bought this as a gift. My friend was thrilled! My 83 year old father has one too and he is teaching all of us about it.

Easy to set up and fun to use. My kids love it. Connected it to my spotify and pandora account and the sound is decent

I've had interactions with both the echo Dot and Google home and the Google home for me is the best. Easy set up, the ability to ask it a question and then a follow up question and it will remember the previous question. The speaker is pretty amazing, and I can't wait to start putting Google home mini's in every room.

Get your home connected with Google or Alexa I can't wait unit they have smart toilets. "Ok Google flush master bedroom toilet"

I got this as an incentive to buy my refrigerator so it was free. I know there is a lot that it can do but I have not used it for much yet. It is stylish and works with the app. If I had a complaint it would be that it is kind of difficult to set up if you don't know what you are doing. Also you can only use one app with it so its on my phone so my husband has to access my phone to use the app. Not sure why you can't use multiple apps. Other than that it responds to us. It needs better instructions.

I love my Google - Home , it works beautifully. This is my second on I have purchased in the past 8 months. It is easy to set up and is full of information. It goes from answering questions of general info to most up to date topics of the world today. It also plays music "Pandora" , and can turn lights off or on at a command.

A friend I know has a Google Home, it came highly recommended. It plays all kinds of music, answers most questions, shuts down when requested. It can be heard from a good distance and the sound really fills the room. It was easy to set up...10 minutes or so. Good speaker sound, I fins myself turning it down from time to time.

This is a very nice addition to any room. I would recommend buying a few of the other smaller speakers for other rooms

This little guy is so much fun to have around. Not anything I need but a blast to have. If you buy only one per year.

Easy to use, recognizes commands from multiple users. Only drawback is that I haven’t been able to get it to work with my TV.

This Google smart home speaker is a fantastic addition to my (7) Alexa smart speaker configuration. The speaker offers an easy and quick configuration to access your existing smart enviroment with support for vast devices on the market.

I have been on the fence about going Home or Echo. They both seem to do a great job in their own circle. I find that the Home works better for general answers on on most anything, while the Echo does a better job with music. I have the Home in the office and an Echo Dot sitting in the kitchen working BT through a nice speaker sitting next to it.
