The connectivity is great.the sound is waaah better than I thought and it does so much more than i expected.

I really like this little friend. Answers nearly all questions quickly. Impressive sound quality. I love it.

It's not as smart as you think. You have to know what it's capable of. And how to use it. I can tell my Google assistant on my phone to turn on a house fan. But the Google home doesn't understand. Yet they're synced. Sound isn't bad. That was one of the main reasons for it. So it serves it's purpose. But I hate how it has to repeat every little thing you ask it. Just play the darn song.

So my kids love this for asking random questions. Works well with home automation from samsung and ihome so far. Lately the unit keeps losing internet connection though so have to reboot - not sure what's up with that. Definitely not a must have for the home but fun all the same - goes on sale often so just time your purchase.

The product is easy to use. Google search the list of verbal commands to make your experience more rewarding!

After using Amazon Echo since its release I had high hopes for Google's answer. There was much that Alexa did not know how to handle which had me resorting to grabbing my smart phone and asking Google and virtually never being disappointed. I thought Google would bring the same capability to its always listening device. Alas, Google's device often has that same "I don't know how to answer that" issue that Alexa's programmers have been working on. The Amazon Echo has been steadily improving and at this point it has the edge over Google's offering but I'm hoping Google is in it for the long haul and will close the gap. After all, the device itself is primarily an i/o device, capturing voice data and sending it to servers in the cloud and receiving and delivering responses from those distant servers. And as an i/o device I find it quite capable. I've had no issues with voice recognition even when speaking quietly (I have the unit in the bedroom and used it quite effectively to play a number of lullabies to get my granddaughter to sleep.) And it's a stylish device, looking right at home on my nightstand. All in all, I'm pleased... and hopeful.

Google Home was very easy to setup, I was using it within minutes. The sound quality is amazing coming from such a small speaker. Asking Google questions is informational and fun. I can already see myself using it on a daily basis but also think it's going to be great fun at parties.

I bought this for simple uses and eventually got real into home automation and now I love it more than ever

Product works as expected and can be used handily if you are tied to the Google ecosystem. It also works with a range of third party accessories for home automation. The only downside that I can foresee is that it can only be tied to one account instead of having multiple for different people in a household.

Can't believe how fast it answers my questions. The sound is amazing and you don't have to repeat yourself.

Best smart speaker - have both Echo & Google much prefer the Google Home much more - great for youtube music

The Google Home device wears many hats as a daily assistant. I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She has found Google Home to be simple and easy to use. Of course, it does the things that you expect, such as answering questions from Google and playing music from various music streaming services. It can also cast media to a Chromecast device. However, Google Home can also answer questions about your local weather, tell you what's coming up on your calendar, add items to your shopping list in Google Keep, and even entertain you with various word games. The uses don't end there, as you can even integrate Google Home into your home automation process, to turn on, off, or dim your Philips Hue light bulbs, change the temperature on your Nest Thermostat, or trigger an automation on your SmartThings hub. The uses are growing as well. In mid-December 2016, Google publicly released the programming interface so that even more companies can begin to integrate their services into the Google Home interface. I'm excited to see what new capabilities will be released for Google Home.

The Google Home is a great device, it very rarely disconnects from the network and is very easy to communicate with. I love the features that it does offer, however, it is lacking a few key things that I wish it could do. It cannot set reminders. Also, the integration with Chromecast devices is amazing, however, it has a few limitations as it doesn't work with Hulu. The device is great, but knowing it's limitations before purchasing is recommended.
