I enjoy this product. It can be very convenient using it to control your other home controls. Kids love it too!

The Google Home is attractive and easy to set up. Works just the way it should. Problem is with the knowledge base of this digital assistant, which is limited. It will only play music for a couple of weeks before you have to sign up for a third party paid music service such as Pandora, YouTube Red or Spotify. The volume modulation on this device is another source of frustration. For example, when I say good morning to Google Home, she plays news from several difference sources. Very cool and useful for me, but the volume of each podcast is radically different and Google Home is apparently not smart enough to adjust the volume accordingly so that we don't get blasted out of our chairs when the ESPN news podcast comes on at a MUCH louder volume than the other news outlets. Google is a great company and presumably will make updates and corrections over time. Oh, my last suggestion/complaint: why can't Google Home include the WiFi mesh service in each device. They have a totally SEPARATE device for that. That is just plain stupid. We don't need MORE power and space sucking devices around the house.

Great product at a very good price. Did not plan to purchase but was on sale so I decided to take a chance. It is a lot of fun to ask questions and get the answers while you are sitting away from a computer. Also great little speaker with pretty good sound for playing your music.

The device knows our name and we can ask it many things and most of the time it has the right answer.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Has trouble understanding a few words but overall great response.

Works just like my Alexa. Voice assistant is very good. I use it mainly to play music. Unfortunately, I can't use it as a bluetooth speaker, so it doesn't play music in my iTunes library. It will play music from Spotify. Main reason for my 4 star rating.

I have had a Google Home for over a year now and I am still happy with it. Sure, it has times where it does not hear us, but in general, it is always there to answer my questions and stream my music and change my lights and temperature. I definitely recommend this over the Echo (or Alexa).

Google Home can hear you from a long distance, answers in clear precise voice. Music comes across super clear with great sound. My only complaint is that I wanted to listen to audio books thru this device & that is not supported at this time but I understand that it might be in the future - I love this.

Easy to set up, easy to use, just makes life easier! Also there are some great extras to do with it.

Love that it can control my lights and AC with just my voice. Also listen to streaming audio thru it!

My Wife is visually impaired so google home is very easy for Her to access information , timers etc.

Love how I can just ask it questions and it answers so much easier than having to do it on my phone.

Man, this machine is way better than the Echo. Sound from the speaker is perfect for my living room.

Although we have had a few questions unanswered, Google Home has been a fun addition to our family room. Our family always has discussions and questions we use to grab our phone to answer and I love sitting alone and asking for specific music to enjoy. Looking forward to exploring what else we can do.

So I bought the Google home and an Amazon Alexa to see which one I liked better. A few things stand out for sure. First we have Android phones. Google can distinguish between all of our voices and locate misplaced phones on command (yes I always set my phone down and forget where it is). The music sound quality is hands down better on the Google home. Asking Google multiple questions on the same topic does not require me to restate the subject I'm asking about. For instance I can say "Who is the President of the United States"? Followed by "How old is he"? Google knows who I'm talking about. I mentioned music sound quality earlier. Not to be confused with the assistant voice.. which again is without a doubt better than Alexa. Alexa sounds computerized. Whereas it's hard to tell Google home from a human. Lastly, the vast knowledge library Google home has at it's disposal is better than Alexa. The only thing I wish I could do is make all my Google homes into a mesh wifi network.

I was at odds as to whether to purchase an Amazon Echo or this Google Home. The Amazon Echo is more developed because it has been in the Marketplace for about 2 years. Sadly it can control more of my home automation products on my Wink platform then can the Google Home which was introduced late last year. Being that it is a Google product, I am betting that it will surpass the abilities of Echo over time. What I like about Google Home is that it is more estheticly pleasing to me and matches my home decor better. Setup of this product is a breeze! Google provides excellent easy to understand guidance on how to setup and use this product. The built in microphones do a great job hearing me so commands or inquiries are easy and effortless. The audio quality is good for a product of this size, but it's easy to improve the audio quality for say music listening by adding Google Chrome Audio which Home can control. I have the output of Google Chrome Audio connected to my Aux input on my Bose Wave music system and it does a fantastic job... well worth the little extra money.

Great product and very easy to use and setup. Might purchase a couple more to cover my entire house.
