Great and easy to use and link to my phone and electronic to control my house , simply I love it

It’s the latest thing - speaking to artificial intelligence to seek a response. Some would say we’ve been doing it for years with friends and family, but electronically, Google, Amazon and shortly, Apple, are bringing the world’s knowledge to your home with a simple command. Google Home is great for those all-important questions like “what time is it in Tokyo?” or “how do I boil an egg”. Speak nicely to him or her (you choose) and they may just respond with a friendly comment to make your day. Google Home can be linked to other Wi-fi gadgets in your home - we control our Wemo switches and Honeywell thermostat with ours - and you can even ask it to play Netflix on your TV via chromecast should you so desire. There is much much more to it, but the lack of a manual means you’re in the dark as to how much it can - and often can’t - do. Like all technology, however, it will improve with age. In the meantime, just sit back and enjoy what Google Home can do now. “Okay Google, how was my review?!”

Have been very impressed with the recognition, even at a distance. We have only begun to scratch the surface of what we can do with the google assistant. We have been using it to control lights in the home and I am working on integrating with IFTTT and Stringify to control other iOTs.

Easy set up. Love how it translates for my grand kids when they come over. Very good investment

I don't have many smart things in my home but I do have a chromecast and other Google products that connect to my wifi that can be controlled by the Google home. Sometimes though, and this could be a connection issue in my own home, it will fail to 3xecute the command. Like asking it to turn on the TV where the chromecast is connected. It will do it it sometimes, but other times it will just tell me it couldn't, so it could be frustrating.

This has great sound, bought it for music and get all i want without an addihional paid service

I was initially torn between the Google Home and Amazon Alexa Devices and ultimately went with the Google Home due to my previous experience and in depth usage of Google products. If you already have a "smart-home" set up in place this won't be for you until Google expands Home's abilities with connected devices. However, just starting out knowing full well the potential growth with the Home using IFTTT and currently supported devices is very simple to set up and use. Utilizing chromecasts and the Philips hues systems really brings to light the future of the product. Once the API is open for developers the sky will be the limit. The voice recognition is spot on even sitting right beside the TV. There's been numerous times I've tripped up while speaking a command or asking a question and it still recognized what I was trying to say. It's far field microphones are fantastic. I look forward to seeing what Google has in store for the Home and the possibilities this home assistant will open up.

This works great with my smart products and is fun to use. So helpful for reminders and lists.

does almost everything the google assistant on your phone. does not make calls (yet for what I understand) but the music playing quality was better than I expected, wife uses it to stream Pandora while cooking and I use it with Samsung smart things to control lights, so far has been working great.

The sounds fills up the room. Bought for my +70 year old in laws who easily learned to use it.

This product keeps getting better. With every update Google makes the functionality increases.

Can answer many questions and even learns from previous conversations. Music sounds good also.

Have Alexa and wanted to try Google Home. Love it, easy to use. Better with voice recognition.

My old man purchased this since I introduced him to my Google Home Mini. He loves the sound and it's easy to use. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to fill their home with music!

Thought it was lazy and stupid to have one but comes in handy when your hands are dirty, full, etc...

Google Home is actually a great assistant, and not just for the tech enthusiast. I bought this for my wife so she could have a "personal companion" while spending time in our kitchen. Having the ability to play her favorite music playlists on demand -- in its self-contained unit -- a definitely a great feature. Added to the real reason I bought it, the most obvious benefit of owning Google Home is its ability to answer just about any question you throw at it. From finding recipes and ingredients to performing metric conversions - it's awesome! Having an assistant that can read your itinerary or provide you with weather and traffic details while you are managing other tasks is extremely convenient. One additional feature is its ability to integrate and control other smart compatible devices in your home. To be honest, we have not had an opportunity to take full advantage of this feature yet. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because out of the box it does not control the Ecobee 3 and the Amazon Echo can. All in all, my wife is happy so I'm good.
