I actually purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She has been very happy with it so far. She feels the sound is good from the speakers and uses it for music often. She also is learning the features available such as setting alarms and sending reminders to her phone. I would buy again.

Excellent Product ! Set up was a piece of cake was up and running in less than a minute. Good that I can control my wemo light bulbs and switches in my house with IFTTT. Can also control my chromecast with voice which is a plus. Some features are still in beta but will get better over time !

It is a lot easier to get answers than Alexa. No need to repeat same question. You just talk normal.

Alexa ain't got nothing on Google home. Love it so much I bought a home mini for the kitchen!

So I am not the person who could make full use of this thing. I don't live in a home/apartment that could make use of Smart Home appliances... But I am still enjoying this little thing. I am able to set my alarms with my voice, which actually helps me wake up since I have to speak to it to turn it off. I can stream Google Play music, along with many other apps to the device and the speakers sound great. I can have it adjust my tv, as long as I have the Chromecast. Is it worth the price just for those things? Probably not. All things one can do with a smartphone... Which is required to set it up... so you would have one already. It is missing some basic features, like why can't it read me what is on my Reminders... but I can add reminders with my voice? That doesn't make much sense. However, it was missing a lot of features at launch and Google is really adding a lot with each update. I hope they continue to grow it so that it works fully with their ecosystem, and partner up with more businesses.

I purchased this for my Husband and our entire family enjoys this daily. It was very easy to set up and we love being able to add on accessories for our home. The sound quality is amazing and I am surprised at the variety of functions this seemingly simple and affordable item can perform.

Love the features and sound. Got two of them for $129 on sale. Will give the other as a gift.

I got this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She wasn't sure how she would use it, but once we got it set-up, she's been having fun with it daily. Set-up to connect to her phone was a bit challenging, and took a couple of hours to work through the Google app. It also is inconsistent in recognizing the contacts on her iPhone. Sometimes it knows who to dial if you tell it to call someone, and sometimes it answers "Sorry I can't help with that, but I'm still learning." That is a bit frustrating. She has been enjoying it to play music, check the weather, game scores, and lots of Google Search questions; so she doesn't have to keep going to her phone or computer. The other downside is that it is not good to use for conference calls with work as you cannot disconnect from a conference call without telling everyone else on the call what you are doing - you would have to manually press the mute button on the device or control that from your phone. Otherwise, the sound quality is decent.

Google Home is a great extension if you already use Google products. It works like the perfect assistant, and with the knowledge of Google behind it, it can be quite useful. There are still some issues that you might not get the response you are expecting without looking at a screen, but all in all, the Google Home is fairly intuitive. If you have a home security or lighting program you can use most of them in conjunction with Google Home. Verify your personal systems compatibility to make sure. The voice command function is sensitive and can be difficult if you have your Android phone near by when you ask questions using the "Ok Google" prompt. Your phone may try to answer. I suggest you use the "Hey Google" prompt that the phone doesn't pick up on. Even on the highest volume, Google Home can still hear the voice prompts which is a step above other similar products in the market at this time. Its bluetooth, or broadcast speaker has great quality and fills the room with great sound. I do not regret getting my Google Home.

These were bought for my son as a gift. He likes them and finds them very convenient to use.

Get instant information on several subjects with simple voice command. Nice looking and easy to use.

It works as in the commercial. It has to get used to your voice and once that happens it work well.

This is a great product for the sale price it was sold at 79. I would buy this product again
