My wife doesn’t like using computer gadgets or my sonos so she would use a 20 year old dial radio to listen to her music, it would have poor reception and be annoying to listen to. She can talk to this so no tech interest needed and the speaker sounds so much better than a 20 year old dial radio. Good gadget for non techies.

Picked up my second Google home to add in the bedroom. Gotta love these things.

The Home Mini is super easy to set up and integrates with my Google accounts and settings seamlessly. I use it for controlling my smart lights, setting reminders, playing music, and even for alarms in the mornings. Couldn't be happier with it!

This product is very dear to me. It was a childhood dream to see something answer all my questions which is not a human and possesses more knowledge. I would not insult this product by comparing it to SIRI but this is no less than alexa. Plus thanks to google search, this product can only get better, sharper, much more smarter and intelligent than it is ... indeed a man's best friend.

It took a while but I took the Google plunge and that entailed getting a Google Home. The voice recognition is great, reviews often point out that Google Home's understanding of language is better than Alexa's (Alexa has the upper hand in skills though hands down). The Home has been instrumental in getting my home automation efforts off the ground. The speaker is loud and has great sound, at least compared to Mac laptop speakers. The lights make cool patterns which is a nice touch. The only 'con' I'd mention is I feel Alexa is better at picking up your voice in louder environments. If I am playing music on medium volume I notice I may need to raise my voice higher or repeat myself with Google Home unlike Alexa. This may be due to Alexa having more built in microphones built in. Having both Alexa and Google Home though, I'd pick the Home again.

Excellent product - got a good deal from Best Buy, it has been rock solid for last year and more. Good speakers, and ver y easy to set up and use. Highly recommend.

Currently using the Google Home as a Home Automation platform using Hue to control lighting and Harmony Hub to control the entertainment system. So far the programming has been less than user friendly. There is quite a bit of work to go to get all the kinks worked out but with a fair amount of research, trial and error and patience most technically savvy users should be able to get it all working.

This addition has enhanced my ability to control switches and devices by voice.

This is the 4th unit I have purchased (2 were gifts) and they are worth every penny. Whether you use it for music, TV or smart home integration, the Google Home has been an utter ground breaking product when paired with the proper hardware and services.

Great speaker, great microphones, the best assistant out there in my opinion.

Any time my wife and I have debates, we use Google to settle them. Easy set up. Plays Pandora Music. Doesn't connect to music from my phone like Echo does. Echo doesn't play Pandora though. We have it in the kitchen and use it as a cooking timer a lot..

Purchased this to see what all the hype was about and it's pretty cool. I purchased it with the Phillips hue third generation smart bulb kit due to the knocking 50 bucks off for bundling. I have to save it's well worth the purchase. Love controlling my lamps with my voice.

Sounds good, is responsive and picks up on my voice even in loud situations!
