This was my Fathers Day gift. I am still learning what it can do for me. I especially like it for playing music on Pandora, the first place for it to search. I can ask for music by writer, performance, individual, group, etc. and it will come up with good choices. I don't have the house connected but I'm sure that will come. I do wish I could give it a name other than Google, but that's minor. I said, "Good Night" last night. It replied, "Good night, Sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite. But if they do, I can help you find an exterminator." Ha! Ha! It will tell you jokes, sing a song, give you weather, the news, and sports with a simple request to "OK, Google" You do have to have Wi-Fi to connect to the internet.

This is my first Google Home and the sound is great. I still need to get it connected to my lights. I have had a Tap for over a year and that is connected to my IoT lights. Alexa argues with me more than Google. I'd like to move over more devices to Google.

Love the Google Home Assistant -- sound is great and she is smart as a whip!

This was an impulse buy as we had heard about these type devices. The price point is good (I think about $129?). Set up was very quick and the device works really well. In fact, it worked so well we bought the Google WiFi units which I am waiting to receive.

Setup was quick and easy. Before long I had linked an outdoor LED light set, an internal smart plug, and my Spotify account to the unit. It was just fun to say "Hey Google, turn on the Christmas tree!" and to have the tree light up.

Purchased this after looking at both Google Home and Echo Dot. Love the look of Google home and the ability to change the base color. I loved the voice and the easy of set up. Asking questions normally gets you a answer, including what is on your calendar. I returned the item because I really wanted to be able to tell it to schedule a event. I was dumb founded to find that it did not have this ability, but echo dot did. Who would of thought. Come on Google, really. Even after adding additional app IFTTT, I couldn't get it to do it. Like the sound when music was playing, Hubby liked the ability to ask for a type of music and it did it seamlessly, but echo had more difficulty with this. Would of kept this if only it could do all that echo could.

Perfect for news music and daily schedule... Did lighting control work great.

Google home is terrific! Plays music, tells jokes, & answers most questions!

I use it to control my home lights, get news report in the morning and play music at home. Can't wait for when it can load Netflix and add reminders etc etc. Google assistant is the kind of AI you'd want. I actually had 3 Amazon Echos and I stopped using them.

I got this with a bundle including hue light bulb starter kit. Works great!

Love this it's easy to use. The speaker is great. I have all My lights connected to it and it really works. My kids love to ask it question. The only thing is that it doesn't answer everthing like you would think google should. But other than that it's a great product.
