Bought two of these on clearance sale and very happy with purchases and would buy again if available. I already have google assistant devices so set up was easy. Has good sound and works well.

I returned mine, it was a cool device for a day or so but it lost it's appeal quick. Don't expect to change your life dramatically by owning this guy. I'm sure there will be updates in the future that'll make it great. I didn't like the fact that it isn't portable, in the sense that it's required to be plugged in all the time. Why not just give it an internal battery to charge with? No Bluetooth function either, would've been cool to pair with a phone for speaker phone use. It's cool to get quick facts with, but who knows... maybe I'm picking this thing apart for only being $130.00. I imagined myself owning this thing as a kid and how much fun it would have been back then... as an adult, not so much.

It understands me everytime. Paired with a Harmony Hub it is amazing.

I like Google Home, but disappointed that I can't use it as a bluetooth receiver with my phone. It will only work with some music subscriptions. Works great with wemo and hue bulbs. Smarter then Alexa, I just hope they add more features to this home unit.

My Google Home was free with the purchase of my tv. I really didn't know that much about it but now I love it! I use it for weather, news, music, how long it will take to get somewhere (and then it sends directions to my phone), and on and on...my only complaint is that it will stop playing music if it's been playing it for an extended time (around 2 hours) but that's minor.

I do have Amazon Alexa too. I like both equally. I'm waiting on Google Home to become more sophisticated. I do have it controlling certain home automation like lights and such. Very handy for that. The music out of it sounds better than the Alexa speaker.

Google Home is everything I expected. And as the technology grows, it will only get better. Exactly what you would expect from a company like Google. Set up is a breeze. (I also bought one for my 70++ dad and he had no issues right out of the box.) Ask a question from across the room... Google answers. Tell it to play your favorite song... it streams it immediately. Request it to wake you up in an hour... it will confirm the time and make it happen. Even ask for a joke... Google does not disappoint. Amazing how far we have come. The speaker quality is not an extensive home system, however it does it's job very nicely. Loud enough to fill most rooms. This is exciting technology and will only improve over time. My only complaint: I wish it was cordless. I am sure that is coming... very minor complaint for early adoption. Good job Google!!!

This has been the best purchase I've made in a while. Think Google's search engine right on your finger... no, on your lips. Ask it anything and it searches the web for you and gives you a response. I went with Google because I have an android phone with Google account. So for example if I ask about an address it will give me current traffic conditions and will even push the directions to my phone before I leave the house. Add a music service such as Spottify and you can play music instantly. The speaker reminds me of Bose because you can't believe the sound quality coming out of something this small. Make sure you adjust the equalizer in the app so you get the best sound. Very helpful for me and the family. I love the design and how it has made me much more informed and educated at the same time.
