I was very surprised at how much I loved this speaker! I now have three of them all tied into one group which I can play separately or "whole house". It is easy to use and to set up, even for non-technical people like me.

I just want to get this out of the way: the speakers on this thing are pretty darn good. The speakers are better than I expected, the sound gets loud enough to fill an entire room and bass levels are solid for a device so small. The assistant functionality is good, the microphone picks up your voice easily enough. Actually, I was quite surprised by how well the microphone works; you could practically whisper from across the room and it'll still pick up what you're trying to say to it. Back to assistant functionality, this is still something that needs a bit of improvement. It can't do somethings that I would like; making a phone call would be great, searching for certain things on the internet. Google can update functionality, however, and I hope to see some great new features coming in the future.

Excellent speaker. Great bass and a good set up from the mini. My scoring is biased by the fact that I got these for $30 a piece. At this price point, it is a fantastic deal. Overall, a sizable increase in sound quality compared to the mini. For music, a great improvement. If you are listening just to news or podcasts, I'm not sure it would be worth the normal price. Lastly, these are no longer available through Google, so it would seem that an upgrade or replacement product is likely en route.

I bought google home mainly to listen to music. It works great and I do not need additional speaker for my bedroom. Works with pandora, spotify, tunein radio, google music and youtube red.Fun for the kids too. Just love it.

Works good got it set up when my dad got it for birthday

I got this for 79 bucks for Black Friday and didn't really need one - I just got it to play around with - I can blutooth it to my stereo for my music services, but my stereo has the apps anyway and my phone already did that - I don't have smart lights and thermostat so this is just a toy that won't get used much but it's fun - it is what it is....

I received this as a christmas gift, and hadnt originally thought about purchasing it. At first I was super excited to get rid of my radio/alarm next to my bed(Bose Wave Radio). I like the design, and the sound quality was fairly similar to the Amazon Echo. I didn't expect this to sound better than my Bose Wave radio. Sound wise, it served its purpose. After setting it up, the first thing i tried to do was to setup an alarm that would play a specific playlist from my spotify account. After contacting Google, I was informed that it was not capable of that yet. I don't have any wifi enabled lighting or AC control units, so my use for this product is somewhat limited. I ended up returning it. I will most likely purchase it once Google has expanded its capabilities, at which point, it will work for me.
