My fiancé and I recently bought a house and my immediate thought was, "what can I connect to the Internet?" I held off on the Amazon Echo for months because I knew that whatever Google produced would be better in the long run and I still believe that after owning the Home for a month. There's still some thing's it can't do yet and it's not perfect, but when it comes to giving you a wealth of knowledge, the Home has you covered. Since I already have Internet-connected devices in my home such as Hue Lights and Chromecast, the Home fits in perfectly. I can easily have it control our lights, Cast something to our TV and play anything we want on Spotify. To quote my fiancé, "you got us a new friend." We've had a lot of fun playing with the Home and I'm excited to see where Google takes it in the future.

This was our second foray into the home assistant realm. We had Amazon Echo first, but my wife felt Alexa was lacking getting information that she wanted. If you want to shop and order things on Amazon, the Echo is for you. I also prefer the look of the Echo over Google Home. Home has a good, but not great speaker for music which we use often. It has access to Spotify and Pandora, our preferred music sevices. It listens and responds appropriately and easily. We like the ability have seperate accounts, based on your voice; it's a very cool feature. We use this to "Google" things all the time, basically any info you would do on the computer, but it's easier with Google Home. So far, we are very happy with this product and would highly recommend.

Great for music, getting information and shopping list

My family uses this product all the time. We listen to music, ask cooking questions, and ask questions for the kids school work. It has been very responsive to question and very easy to ask question to. Wonderful product!!

I wasn't sure what to expect from the google home. But I have found it to be very useful,e specially in the morning while we are running around getting ready for work. "How's the commute?" And "what's the forecast?" Are asked of Google daily. And my husband is going through and automating things around the house slowly. Love it!

Easy to setup i have this google home setup along with other google home / home mini i have in different rooms..Not only its easy to play music etc...i also love the broadcast feature of google home/home mini .

its easy to set up and use. sound comes out clean for the size. we got it when it was on sale so even better. got the smaller google ones for gifts for xmas for the family. loved it that much. and it looks nice

Just love the sound and look . Great app and easy to use. It finds more music than pandora and it's free.All you do is type the artist you want and it plays just that artist. Now you can listen to any artist and any song.

I bought this product because of the deal it had with the Phillips Hue lights starter kit. I would have bought it by itself anyway, but probably later in the year or maybe even next year just because I don't have a google phone yet or other Google products whatsoever so there's not much usage I thought I could have for it; however, I was proved wrong. Google home has been an awesome assistant that's helped me with many things. From waking me up in the morning to telling me about the weather to reminding me about my day's agenda to adding things to my shopping list, etc. Google home is great and it works awesome with my Phillips Hue lights. I give 4 stars because though it is a good product, it still has room for improvement and the addition of new and cooler features.

Coming from apple world, I'm really amazed with Google Home. its functionality especially controlling my nest, hue lights and listening to radio and music, I'm so impressed. Plus the price point is very affordable.
