Wanted to get started with a smart home and since i trust google more than amazon I chose google home . It is fun but not sure if it’s worth spending 130$ . Unless you need a very good speaker skip it and get google home mini

Good home assistant with a decent speaker for music while doing chores, and easy to use to connect to chromecast devices for extra connectivity.

So at first i really wasnt sure what i wanted this for i just knew i needed it , then i got it home and the setup is easier than turning the wifi on my phone on the speakers are very loud i have mine on the 2nd and 3rd lowest and its plenty loud for casual listening the microphones vork incredibly well i can talk in a below normal talking voice and it recognizes it if you need more volume you can always pair it with a chrome audio or chromecast , Overall this is one of the best purchases ive made in a while

This is the best home assistant available. Compatible with EVERYTHING! Easy set up with the Google Home app. I was able to link to my Philips Hue light system in minutes.

This speaker makes things easier for me in the morning and throughout the day. Google recognizes my voice and is very easy to use

I have two google homes and they are connected to many devices in my home. Love the functionality and ease of use. Has 3 good speakers for excellent sound quality.

We love our Google Home and use it every day. We find it very informative and have hooked it to our lights. It’s especially fun to hear the response to good night!

Love google home. Finds any type of music you want to listen to, awesome speaker, makes life a little easier, make a grocery list, call your mom, find a recipe ect.

Amazing little device! Plays music, gives basic info, and Google is adding support for different services on the regular. Works best if you also have a Pixel Phone as well.

I have Echos already, but got this while it was on sale. I subscribe to Google Play music and this works well with it. So far, it does everything my echo does, and it is better at answering questions. I also like that I was able to configure it to have a male voice..

The Google Home was easy to set up and operate. I love how it will play whatever music I want when I tell it to, and it will answer just about any question you ask.

Thought about this for a long time before purchasing. Love it but a manual of communication tips would be helpful. There are plenty of online sites but a printed one would have been great so have been developing my own.

I bought this over the echo because, though the echo had a 2 year head start on capabilities, I know that Google's voice recognition and processing is far better than Amazon's. I also knew that it would take less effort for Google to add capabilities than for Amazon to improve their voice capabilities. I was not disappointed. The home can understand me with far better precision than an echo dot that I tried out side by side with the home. Additionally, Google added a bunch of capabilities shortly after I bought it. I really appreciate this thing and my kids really really love it because it can answer all of their questions.

Love my google home always there for me and answers any question I need answers to and plays awesome music! Also got my dad and boyfriend one too and they love it!

I now say "hey Google, good morning" to get the weather and my daily agenda", then "hey Google, turn on the news" as I walk down the stairs in the morning. After having a coffee and settling into work in the office, "hey Google, play ****** music". These are just the basics. Google homes are installed all over my home now. Combined with smartthings, Google home has changed my day to day life. Very few products have had the impact on my life that Google home has. If you are willing to put just a little effort into making this work for you (z-wave switches, outlets, etc.), then this product will change your life for the better.

Google Home is as if your speaking to your computer. I have only brands and I find google home has and will give you more information you request it’s easy to program, too. I use the wake up word “ hey google”. The only New will wake up google on you other Devices .

Google Home has brought the next level of technology into your living space. The convenience of being able to interact with a virtual assistant through speech works so well that it's almost surprising. I like that it is integrated with popular streaming services and can serve as a voice gateway into your smarthome ecosystem. Google Home picks up speech very accurately even if there are other sounds going on, such as people talking, dogs barking or audio from tv/stereo. I'm still learning what else it can do and how to have deeper interactions with it but it's been nothing but a fun, enjoyable and eye opening experience.

I love the Google Home and use it daily for weather, reference information, and just plain silliness when children are here. I have had to unplug it to do a reset because it disconnects from the wifi. Unplugging it does make it reconnect, but it is annoying nonetheless. Since mid December I have had to do it about 7 times. While Home is superior to the Amazon Echo, (and I do have both), for information, the Echo has a superior sound system. I am amazed at the rich tones the Echo provides. Compound that with Amazon Prime's music library, I would say buy the Echo if your main usage will be music. I have both, and like both, for different reasons.

Very easy to install. Better than Alexa in answering questions. Speaker is good. I have BOSE speaker I bought few months ago and not using it after I bought google home.

Took some tweaking but I got it to pair with Smartthings. Great speaker for light usage around the kitchen. My 3 yr old likes talking to Google and making her count to 100.
