Google did it again!!! One of the best personal assistant in the market, today! I have both google and amazon, but I think Google did a better job... It understands commands VERY efficiently... Responses are accurate. Have this one and the mini version as well.

Have one of these for our kitchen and my parents liked it so much they wanted one of their own. This has great sound and understands me every time.

I had a google mini for about a week and I loved it so I got this one to go with it. SO easy to set up and connect with everything. I already had a google tablet, a google nexus phone and chromecast so it just went perfect! I love that when I get home I can have music playing before I take my coat off! I will say the only bad thing about the Google Home is the amount of bass. For the most part this is good, but when a song comes on that already has a decent amount of bass, this thing rumbles the room. A little too much if you ask me. But definitely not a dealbreaker. I love mine!

I bought the two pack intending to give one away as a gift....ended up enjoying it so much I'm keeping it and buying another (or 3) to give as a gift. I might have to buy a chromecast now as well... and if the Home Max goes on sale...this may be a problem...

What can you say. It's a great speaker for its size more depth than the mini, will continue to add more as I go along. Google Max is next.

I have both alexa and the google home and if you are interested in automation, alexa is the way to go. if you want a way to google search with your voice, google home is better. both are good with streaming music. For automation, almost nothing is native to google home and must go through IFTTT, which is a pain in the butt to set up. Have to set 2 applets per device - one for on and one for off. Alexa is just connect device via the skill (hue, lutron, wemo, etc) and all devices are discovered and can be controlled with voice without any extra effort. Google home is still a fun device to have - recommend the mad libs skill!

This is a great piece of technology at a very reasonable price. Works wonderfully with my nest and Philips hue bulbs. Updates will greatly increase its capabilities...hopefully.

Having already owned an Amazon Echo for a couple of years, I can say that I am pleasantly surprised by the effort and execution on the Google Home product. Its seemless integration with SmartThings and your entire Google account is just the tip of the iceberg. Where Google Home really shines is through its integration with the greater Google search access and ability to provide up to date details and information that far exceed Amazon's offering. The multi syncronous audio is a very nice feature if you have 2 or more Google Home devices playing the same song, and the sound quality is surprisingly good.

I bought this as something for the family to have fun with. At the end of the day it seems limited in what you can do. I had to lookup voice commands for it which was annoying. Setup was easy enough, taking maybe 3-4 minutes. I wish it had a kids mode on it so that filtering explicit content was straight forward and easy to configure out of the box. Also, if there was a package deal with the chrome cast ultra, id buy it upfront. Instead I had to find out that it'll extend the functionality. I bought it later in the week but was annoyed that I had to go back to the store. Not bad, just isn't soup yet. It'll get there, I hope.

I received a Google home mini as a gift and had too much fun with that it, so I decided on purchasing the larger Google Home device for more sound. The sound is just awesome. I subscribe Google music and issuing voice commands to play music from Google music is just way too easy. If the artist or album is not available on Google music, it automatically plays the album from YouTube. I also have Philip Hue lights and Nest thermostat integrated and both work without any issues. I keep forgetting the exact commands to alter the thermostat, but I usually get it on the second try.

talk about adding a simple product that does so much around the house. We find new uses for Google Home all the time from setting timers for laundry to creating ongoing shopping lists as things run out to playing obscure songs. even our 3 year old loves it so he can hear all the disney songs he like anytime and have his dance partys. now we dont have to get out of bed to turn on our thermostat we just have to as google to to do it. we can have it add dates to our calendar so we dont forget things, the list just goes on and on for christmas we are getting a second one for the bedroom. THIS IS A MUST HAVE

very interesting device. Bought this for my wife. She loves playing her spotify playlists. My kids love asking it questions and I Cant wait to see what it's like with more Google home devices in the house. We are enjoying it quite a lot and use it everyday.

Really good sound for money. Google assistant is also very accurate for sure. If you can get for under 60 bucks worth it.

Our family is really digging this Google Home unit. We purchased one of these the day they came out. That night, all the kids were playing games, laughing and just having a ball with the thing when I realized. I paid 130.00 for this box. Had I taken all 5 of them out to have as much fun as they had this ONE night. I would have easily spent 130.00 or more. The added benefit? We get to keep it forever. Went back to Best buy for more the next morning. Fill all the rooms! Highly Recommended

I already own a Google Home and decided to buy one for my friends for the holidays. At first the practicality of it is hard to see, but as you begin to discover what it can do (e.g. trivia, stream music, smart home functionality) it becomes more appealing.

Google Home is GOOGLE! If you use Google on smartphone you will LOVE Google Home. Fast, accurate, friendly personality and more. Music sound quality better than anticipated. One disappointment is Red You Tube Music offer! Read the fine print or try to find it as Google Home comes with 14 days of Red Music. Then you must sign up to get printed 6 months Free and there is a dead line! That being stated: the actual product is delightful. I look forward to more skill capabilities as ALEXA has which no doubt will come. On basics Google Home offers more detail, is more flexible and that personality is FUN!

Able to set up within two minutes. Works intuitively and easily. Kids found it fun and entertaining. Good speakers for music. Will be nice when it connects to my SONOS system.

As the name says its a product of Assistance and produced by one of the giants of technology, so it will be great product. Need to use more of this product. And as always BestBuy never disappoints its customers for holidays, it always gives great deals.

I was hesitant at first as most of the reviews/videos I had seen online were people making use of it in a house where they had a bunch of automated appliances and lights. I live in an apartment and have yet to bother switching over to automated appliances... However I may start now. The other features are so useful. The quality build is great. The speakers are amazing. It can pick up my voice from a good distance and I do not have to speak loudly at all. (Kind of creepy, but very useful) Definitely learns your voice. I live alone but I read it has been updated to learn family voices.

I use it to stay updated on weather, news, and traffic. I also use to control my phillip hue Lights, ring doorbell, and Swann security cameras.
