Paired this with a bunch of wemo switches and a few hue lights. Works great, not hard to set up or use. Speaker is ok, not as good as my ue boom but pretty good, I enjoy being able to tell it to play music and it goes and finds me new music.

I received this device as part of a package deal. My expectations were limited, but this device works very well! Sound quality is loud and satisfying. Microphones work well. Device integrates into home automation easily. Highly recommended!

I have 2 Echoes in my house and now a Google Home. I like the speaker better on the Google Home and the ease at which it can answer questions (though Okay Google is a mouthful to say). Also, you can upload your personal music for free to Google and are able to stream it, whereas this is a $25 a year feature for the Echo. The Echo, since it has been on the market longer, has more features and better compatibility with other vendors, but Google will most likely catch up in that arena. I can't say I dislike either but I'm willing to bet that the Home starts to get more use as features are added.

I like this thing a lot. Starting with setup, it was really, really easy to get going in just a few minutes. The microphone works from all over the room. However, if it is playing music loudly, you have to get pretty close and talk loud in order for it to hear you. Also, I have since purchased a mini, and it apparently isn't far enough away from the original as they both will pic up commands and it's a grab bag as to which one will take the action. Integration with Phillips Hue products was super easy, as well as my TV, IFTTT, and other accounts like Pandora. It's fun to just sit around and play with, and when folks come over, we always have a good time with it.

This thing is great. I use it throughout the day but mainly while doing homework. I ask it all type of things like, how do you spell this, or what's the definition of that. I even have it play background music. Over all very useful!

Our world is becoming more automated and this unit is in the forefront. It is easy to use, sets up in a snap and I have used it everyday since it was purchased. Never hears me incorrect (amazing) and understands most of my commands... things it can do are still limited but more options are coming in future updates. The best part about it it runs all my lights in the house (Lifx Bulbs) don't think i'll have to use a light switch ever again. Just bought a Second and working on a third for Music and lighting control through out the whole house.

The natural comparison for this product is the Amazon Echo, which I have owned since early 2015. I bought the Google Home to see which one I liked better, which I am still figuring out but I do give the Google Home a thumbs up. It does not support that many smart home devices upon launch, but I know more will come. It was very easy to set up and connect with my Hue lights and my Nest thermostat. Microphones are responsive and was able to pick up my voice from a good distance away. Sound quality is pretty good though about as expected for a speaker that size. I prefer the "air freshener" look of the Home to the harsh look of the Echo, but that is personal preference. I also like that you can default a service like Spotify for audio and music and the Assistant does a pretty good job of recognizing your playlists. Speaking of the Assistant, it does a great job of answering questions with more detail than Alexa does and I know it will only get better.

This device is fun and practical to own. We have mostly used it to answer typical "google" questions and as a kitchen timer. Emails are sent to help us learn the many things it can do, such as connecting with Pandora and Nest.

Overall, I'm pleased with Google Home. I purchased this as a two-pack with the intention of giving one as a gift. My own device was set up in just a few minutes, but the gift device was not able to work. I attribute that to a very low speed connection in a device-heavy environment. Ultimately I took the gift device home and set it up in another room. I like being able to cast to either device or to both at the same time or even to both devices AND my Chromecast Audio. I enjoy the convenience of asking it about the weather or to look something up while I cook, listening to podcasts while cleaning/cooking, playing trivia games, and listening to relaxing bedtime music on a sleep timer. Overall I'm pleased. Next order of business is to look into more smart IOT devices that I can connect to the Google Home.

Very easy to use. The Google Home connects to my Chromecast and Android phone and updates my calendar, plays music or just about anything else I request. The speaker is also loud and clear despite the small size of the unit.

This speaker sounds great. It is easy to set up and use, and responds well to your voice. Adapts to your voice and commands, and learns as it goes. The speaker has great sound quality, and acts as a nice Bluetooth speaker.

This product is very well engineered and has no problem recognizing any voice in the house. Google is always adding new features and the system was very easy to setup and configure. Highly recommend this product to anyone.

I have the amazon Alexa echo dot but heard google home was much better. Purchased this and it's great. Its so convenient to start and stop on chrome cast by the sound of my voice. The speaker is also amazing! love it !

Before, I wasn't very sure about these devices, since I felt I would be loosing privacy having a device listening my conversations. But, I took advantage of a great offer from Best Buy and got this as part of a bundle with the Phillips Hue Lights. I'm not too concerned now about privacy since we just have normal conversations and we can always mute or simply disconnect it if we had to. So far so good. Very delighted. We can control our lights. We can play our favorite music. We control volume. We ask questions. We get the news and weather. We put relaxing music with a timer to sleep. We also play white noise at night and sleep much better. We have lots of fun with it. It tells us jokes. We even use short cuts for some commands. Very happy and my wife loves it.

The Google Home has exceeded my expectations. It's very easy to set up and very easy to use. I use it mostly to listen to music and the speakers sound great although I have it connected to my stereo using Chromecast Audio.

I primarily use the Google Home to play music and I absolutely love that they can be paired throughout the house or used individually! It's very easy to use and compared to other pairable speakers, it is a great price. My sister in law owns 4 Bose pairable speakers that cost $250 each. This is such a better buy as it also links to anything Google, which runs my life. Awesome voice recognition although there are times you have to be very specific in what you are asking but that's understandable. Overall, an awesome product.

This google home is amazing it very easy to connect. This is connect to my tv my lights my Air condition. Overall it has cut down a lot of hassle. I am able to check weather, news, and much more with just "hey google"

Bought this for my son and his family for Christmas. The setup was quick and easy. It provided plenty of fun and entertainment for the entire family. Sound is great and seems to understand very well what we asked.

We have an Amazon Echo, but I purchased this for integration with the rest of my Android devices. Well constructed, easy to set up and good sound quality. Very responsive to regular voice commands from as far away as 60 feet.

Great deal with Black Friday prices. Was a previous Amazon Echo user and think the Google Home is easier to use, answers more of my questions, and even sounds great. Ended up buying more for other family members.
