I acquired this Google Home after I was impressed by the mini version that I had received as a Christmas gift. The sound quality is quite decent for music and talking media alike. Thanks to the equalizer included in the Home app the sound can be adapted to your taste. This smart speaker helps and assists in so many tasks and I'm discovering new ones everyday. Google is catching up quickly with Amazon Echo. It's customizable and with the IFTTT app, the sky's the limit. Very happy with my purchase.

I can’t really leave an honest review of this yet, as I purchased it as a family Christmas gift. I will definitely review after Monday! From what my salesperson, Dustin, showed me in the store, I’m totally impressed!

I have a Chromecast and Chromecast audio, it makes watching Netflix easy because I can tell it what I want to watch, to pause and play it. It also works for my speaker when listening to music. It's hooked up to my Google Account and Calendar so I can ask it what my day looks like, it will tell me my commute time to work with delays, also what is on my calendar for the day. I don't have it hooked up to any lights yet, but that's the next addition. It's also fun, you can ask it to tell you a joke and play a trivia game

Google Home is a good alternative to Amazon Alexa and it can actually be better in terms of asking more intuitive questions but the fact that amazon Alexa has tons of apps you can add, it makes it much better than google Home.

I really love this product. We can control the lights in the house and ask to play music at any time. Very easy to use and set up.

Ask Google Home anything, and it will give you an answer! It's made cooking and housework a breeze. I just tell it to play a particular genre or artist, and I can listen to music while I do my chores! The sound is rich and can easily fill a room. I can also play Netflix and Youtube videos on my television thru my Google Chromecast. The microphone can pick up a whisper, and the response is amazing! It been able to tackle nearly every challenging question I've thrown it's way. If you're thinking about getting one, do it!

Reason for buying it is I wanted to make sure it works with Smart things, it was an easy set up, just need to add a few more to the house

I was planning to purchase a Bluetooth speaker and the Google home was in my price-point. That alone was a win. The speaker puts out nice sound for my small space. I love that I can add to my shopping list as I'm cleaning out my fridge. I love being able to check the weather, my commute or asking questions as I move around my home. I can ask her to cast specific movies (via my chromecast) She answers silly questions, and through some IFTTT app instructions, I can program hilarious responses to specific phrases.

I chose the Google Home over the Amazon Alexa due to the ability to speak more naturally to the assistant and the ability to ask easy follow-up questions. The integration with my Nest thermostat is excellent and works well with Google Keep and Google Calendar. My wife, who was initially hard to sell on the purchase, has actually gotten to like it and uses it daily. The device's capabilities could still stand to be expanded more with apps like GMail or other third party apps, but still allows for an impressive amount of use through IFTTT.

Everyone I know was sceptical of this. I am a self confessed Googleholic so I was very much waiting for this to come out. Out of the box, simple and easy instructions. Set up your Google account and off you go. Limitations are it is not set up yet with a ton of third party apps but it is getting there quickly. There seems to be up dates to the software at least every couple of weeks. Even my wife and my son's girlfriend have slowly jumped on the Google home train.... We bought him one for Christmas and they love it.

So I've had the Google Home for a little over a month now, and I can honestly say that its a pretty unique device. My home is not yet set up for home automation yet, but I'm excited about the possibility. So far I've used it to play music, tell me the latest news, traffic, and what's on my calendar. I've also learned a few tricks as well, teaching spanish, playing games, and giving therapy advice. All in all, I'm pretty happy with Google Home, and can't wait to test all the fun home automated features in the future!

Google Home is interesting. I was visiting my Friends and saw Google Home for the first time, when I got home went to my local BestBuy talk to a salesperson and bought it. As I got more familiar with Google Home I use it every day and night love it. It plays the music I like tells me the weather in my area or anywhere in the country and more. The sound with some songs is a little tiny that's ok. It wasn't surprising I read that in a review All I an say is I like it and very happy I bought the Google Home.

I exchanged this item for the Google Mini due to pricing differences - they appear to offer essentially the same service. I gave the item a 5 Star because (assuming it's comparable to the Mini) it's a great device.

very happy with it, easy to set up and use. does exactly what I want it to do which was play music. Decent sound for a speaker of that size.

This item from Google was released in late 2016 and was quickly sold out everywhere as initially people were curious to see if it lived up to Google's podcasts about it and when it was revealed. Google Home can control all your devices and also can give you hands-free access to search the web or order items such as food or call a cab or monitor your security system. It works with both Android and iOS making it versatile. I have purchased two of these, one for each level of my home. Definitely buy this if you like amazing gadgets!

The Google home smart speaker is a neat device to use. I like pretty much to play music and ask questions. It is fun!

We have had a home for one year and love it so we just bought one for the sister in law as a Christmas present. It was on sale for 79.99usd I wish we caught the online deal. It would have been two for 149.99usd.

This device is so much fun especially when you live alone it’s like someone is there with you. You really do have a personal assistant for example this google home answers all my questions hands free. I say ‘ Hey Google ‘ and speak my question. It’s that simple. The speaker is very nice and crisp and clear. I will purchase one more for my bathroom that way I will have one in every room. You can also ask google to call anyone in your contacts. I am safer now because I have my google home.

The only thing that I had read in the reviews of this product that I did not like was that it only responded to one voice per household, but that's not true. It responded to anyone who said Okay Google. Everything from using it as a simple timer, to keeping all of our itineraries, this is an amazing assistant to everyone in our household. We love it. And the cost cannot be beat. After having it in our house for over a month, there is not one complaint. The sounds great, the quality is great, not one complaint.
