Google Home is great, but Has a ways to go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I love Google Home. The sound is great for listening to radio stations using TuneIn. It is lacking in some other services. I can't understand why it can't put something on my Google calendar or tell me what is on the schedule for the day. The shopping assistant is helpful and Google Home can answer most questions you would "google." Hoping for more apps (calendar, please!) soon. For the price, I think it is a better deal than Alexa, since I really don't want to be ordering items from Amazon by voice.

Hey google
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup as long as you remember your existing google account and password or else you have to set up a new account or try to reset google account password. Other than that works great , sound is ok don’t expect big huge stereo sound out of it but sounds as good or better as any top selling portable Bluetooth speaker . Got it connected to a couple smart bulbs for voice Activation on/off. Going with a thermostat next

Good Device, Room to grow though...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device is great for what it currently does, I just wish it did more at this point. I was familiar with the Amazon device and expected the same from this and although it is better in regards to the sound of the device there is some functionality lacking. Fortunately, if you find something you'd like to see added (like being able to charge it so it can be moved without an outlet) you can tell the device about it and it gets reported to the dev team. All in all, good device and expect it to get much better.

This is a great product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google home works just as it was intended to. The volume is more clear and has more bass than its little brother the mini, but that's to be expected. I have them throughout my home and love them!!!

Love This!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We started with the Google Home and have since added several Google minis to each room. Since the Home is setup in our master bedroom, we have it programmed to our nightstand lights and TV. Sometimes, when my husband is in the room, Google will not listen to me, and will only listen to my husband. It drives me crazy but cracks my husband up. Other than that, the sound is fantastic and I love the convenience of having Google in almost every room.

Love Google Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought three on Black Friday for other family members. I have mine hooked up now. I only wish I could figure out how to sync my phone contacts because the instructions aren’t user friendly in my opinion.

Google Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I had Alexa Echo in my office (I LOVE Alexa) and wanted to compare Alexa w/Home. They both work really well, however, I think I like Alexa slightly better because I can link it to my Amazon Prime account and get any song I want, without saying "Okay Google, Play (name of song) on youtube" If you have a Goggle Music account (not sure if they have that), it might work better for you. Still a GREAT item! My granddaughter loves watching the colors roll around when I ask it something.

Fun & interesting home assistant
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Being the newest home assistant out, I expected the uses to be more limited until it grows up a bit. the more you try it, the more uses you find for it. I've bought a chrome cast device to go with it, so I can voice command what I want to watch on tv. It works pretty well with Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu. I like the services and games. They take on a personality of their own with full sound effects and voices. I look forward to seeing it grow and add new functionality.

Tech is there but support is still behind
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google Assistant is fantastic with its contextual capabilities. You can ask one question, then another. Almost, as if having a conversation with it. Both Siri and Alexa can't do that. Technologically, google is far ahead but as a late comer to the smart home they don't have as many companies that support them. This is rapidly changing so in the near future, it will be a mute point. I say this device is a better deal than the Amazon Echo and Apple has yet to release its smart home speaker.

Good start
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Home is Google's answer to the Amazon Echo and so can do similar things like control compatible smart home appliances and get you the weather. It's ability is pretty limited right now but with more and more apps and services coming online the product will gain some needed functionality in the future and that's where the potential lies with this product. If you're comfortable with that idea and have already been assimilated into Google's collective then this will probably serve you well into the future.
