It doesn't have as many apps as the Echo but it's still fun to use. I mainly use it to listen to music. Music randomly cuts off every once in awhile. I don't know why. A huge plus is free Youtube Red for 6 months, the ads are getting ridiculously long. I have the Google Home in the middle of my apartment and it was able to pick up "Okay Google" from my bedroom, which is pretty impressive. Overall, it's fun to have and the price is decent. I'd recommend buying it, especially when more apps/functions are available.

I bought this for my future son-in-law's birthday present. I like the aesthetic of it's design. He was very happy with it and is already planning to get other compatible items to make his house "smart."

I have two Google homes and one Google home mini and one Chromecast audio all set up in my house for the ultimate audio listening experience. And I love it and I would definitely recommend this product.

I replaced my Amazon Eco (aka Alexa) with this Google Home only for one reason... It fits with what I do with Google. I have a Google calendar, Google Keep and other G apps that can be used with G Home. Now G Home can do all of the stuff that the Eco can do but I am hoping G Home will catch up in its technology. The speaker seems to be just as good as Amazon and the mic can hear and understand me from a good distance away. G Home even responds to the TV when a commercial says "Hey Google".

We started with the Google Home and have since added several Google minis to each room. Since the Home is setup in our master bedroom, we have it programmed to our nightstand lights and TV. Sometimes, when my husband is in the room, Google will not listen to me, and will only listen to my husband. It drives me crazy but cracks my husband up. Other than that, the sound is fantastic and I love the convenience of having Google in almost every room.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband and I for Christmas and we've been trying to figure out everything we can do you with the Google Home and what accessories we can get. I was a little sad to find out that we could not use the YouTube song list without a subscription to YouTube Red. It has been great for around the house and it's able to hear our voices from a distance away which is nice when you're in another room and want to ask Google something. Looking forward to learning more about our Google Home.

Has really good sound for the size. Easily controller all my other connected smart home devices.

I purchased wondering how far you can technology. It has been a pleasant surprise, it learns quickly. Still has bugs to work out but it will get there.

The Google home works just as it was intended to. The volume is more clear and has more bass than its little brother the mini, but that's to be expected. I have them throughout my home and love them!!!

Overall, I love Google Home. The sound is great for listening to radio stations using TuneIn. It is lacking in some other services. I can't understand why it can't put something on my Google calendar or tell me what is on the schedule for the day. The shopping assistant is helpful and Google Home can answer most questions you would "google." Hoping for more apps (calendar, please!) soon. For the price, I think it is a better deal than Alexa, since I really don't want to be ordering items from Amazon by voice.

Me: hey Google, what's up Home: I'm really excited for the upcoming astronomical event this Sunday. Now I get to see something amazing I wouldn't of known anything about without buying Google Home.

The device is great for what it currently does, I just wish it did more at this point. I was familiar with the Amazon device and expected the same from this and although it is better in regards to the sound of the device there is some functionality lacking. Fortunately, if you find something you'd like to see added (like being able to charge it so it can be moved without an outlet) you can tell the device about it and it gets reported to the dev team. All in all, good device and expect it to get much better.

I just bought three on Black Friday for other family members. I have mine hooked up now. I only wish I could figure out how to sync my phone contacts because the instructions aren’t user friendly in my opinion.

This device is great! It can totally hear you the first time and provide the answer your looking for help with. Love it !

This unit has a great sound and is very easy to use. I was so impressed that I purchased two additional units.

I bought this because I had Alexa Echo in my office (I LOVE Alexa) and wanted to compare Alexa w/Home. They both work really well, however, I think I like Alexa slightly better because I can link it to my Amazon Prime account and get any song I want, without saying "Okay Google, Play (name of song) on youtube" If you have a Goggle Music account (not sure if they have that), it might work better for you. Still a GREAT item! My granddaughter loves watching the colors roll around when I ask it something.

Got this to add to my collection. The Google Home works great, looks good, and is perfect for whole house music using YT Music or many others. Assistant is excellent at answering questions, setting reminders and timers, and controlling smart home products. The app is not the most intuitive so it does take some learning to figure out how to set things up, but once you get that, you're golden.

Bought amazon echo and returned it. We're a Google home and purchased it and lights. Works well with lights and music....so far

This is everything you've already heard about the Google Home. I love that as time passes new features and commands are added making it better and better. I hope one day to wake it with a different wake word.

So far so good. Being the newest home assistant out, I expected the uses to be more limited until it grows up a bit. the more you try it, the more uses you find for it. I've bought a chrome cast device to go with it, so I can voice command what I want to watch on tv. It works pretty well with Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu. I like the services and games. They take on a personality of their own with full sound effects and voices. I look forward to seeing it grow and add new functionality.
