    The Geek Squad never came out to look at my dryer. They called me and told me that there was no one qualified to look at it. That the personnel they have works on computers and other electronics. He informed me that the most qualified personnel that could look at it worked in the Austin store and would most likely not drive the distance from Austin to Killeen to look at my dryer. So the problem was not solved, and my dryer is still not working correctly.

    Lack of agent promises

    Our agent did the survey and all went well until he scheduled the actual visit. He went out to his vehicle, called it in and came back reporting to me that the work was scheduled for a morning. I told him morning did not work. We needed afternoon. He said no problem and would go back out to his vehicle, call the change in for the same day but in the afternoon. I never heard back until i discovered the error. We then had to shuffle doctor appointments, etc to accommodate his untruthful promises because Geek Squad had no vacancies available. Very frustrating and does not breed trust.

    Geek Squad did not set up my TV which I paid for

    Waste of money!!! I expected my new TV to be set up, but all the "tech" did was unbox it and plug it in. I could have done that! I'm now stuck setting up the TV which is taking a while since this is the first "smart" TV I have ever dealt with which is why I paid for totaltech/Geek Squad. I could have bought the same TV for the same price elsewhere with FREE shipping. Yes I Best Buy also charged me $60 to deliver the TV. In addition, I would have received the TV within 2 days. With Best Buy I had to wait a week and a half for a useless tech to bring the TV to my house. I wasted money buying totaltech/Geek Squad. I see no benefits of having this, since if anything goes wrong it is obvious the techs will not do anything. Save your money if you are buying a TV. I also was not impressed years ago with the computer repair with this type of program, so I now take my computer to an independent repair shop.
