    Geek squad has been extremely helpful and qucik to provide top quality service for me as a customer. I highly recommended using them for their services. They have mounted TVs in 3 rooms and they look fantastic!

    I thought the gentleman that came from the Geek Squad was personable, knowledgeable, efficient and everything that one could ask for. I had gone into your store first and was ready to walk out because your floor salesman was more interested in his cell phone than me, when I thought about getting your Geek Squad. That was the smartest thing I have done this month.

    I'm currently helping to open a new business and needed quite a few things from Best Buy. There were multiple issues regarding different things and I kept picking up/returning items at the Greenbrier location. There were multiple issues from credit card verification issues to purchase issues. I couldn't reach the store at all, it took three days to get a hold of Best Buy corporate. Then Best Buy corporate was being extremely unhelpful once I finally got a hold of them, we were on the phone for MULTIPLE hours, they even cancelled my orders on accident and then were unable to get them back. It was so frustrating. HOWEVER, one of their employees at the Greenbrier location - Thomas was an absolute life saver. All week he was there helping me with anything and everything under the sun with the situation. I can't express how much I appreciate how helpful and kind he was. He helped me to get exactly what I needed every single time, loaded it onto my truck, and was literally the only person who was at all helpful. Thank you so so much Thomas!

    The agents mounted and connected several TVs for my home. They were fabulous!! I could not have asked for better service. Quick, Professional, Knowledgeable, Made certain that I understood everything necessary for watching the different TVs.

    Just want to give a shoutout for Sonia at the Bellingham Best Buy. When I stopped by to compare pricing on Whirlpool dishwashers for my rental unit, she was a great help. Unlike the other stores I dealt with on this purchase, she immediately got it that I knew which model I was interested in and she didn't try to change my mind or take up my time trying to impress me with her knowledge about dishwashers. What Sonia did do, however, is explain the price break that I could get via the Best Buy tech support service. She also looked up my account and my husband's separate account with Best Buy, and let me know that my husband subscribes to the Best Buy tech support service. So, this substantially reduced the cost of the dishwasher and the result is that I placed my order for the machine with her. There's a saying, "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." It's clear to me that Sonia is a very smart individual and knows a great deal about the appliances she sells and the Best Buy policies, but the motivator for me for this purchase was her clear interest in helping me get the best deal on the machine I wanted.

    On 10-17-2021 I walked into the Best Buy store located 149 Flether Pkwy in El Cajon with my wife and asked about the iphone 13 Pro deals. I believe Sean was helping me out with answering all of my questions in regards to trading in my old iphone 11 pro for the new iphone 13pro. Sean was Extremely helpful and patient. While i was making my mind Sean mentioned that they had an Iphone 13Pro 256gb Sierra blue at a different location and Ryan offered to go pick up right then and there if i was really interested. As soon as i said Yes Ryan left to a different Best Buy location and picked up my phone and brought it back to me. Sean helped me install my new case and new screen protector and stayed a little longer after closing hours to make sure i got my device ready to go. I want to give a Huge Thanks to Sean and Ryan for their AMAZING Service. I have never had someone be as patient and go above and beyond to do their absolute best to help us customers be 100% satisfied. Thanks again Sean and Ryan and my wife and i will definitely be back for future purchases.

    Michael and Brian saved the day

    first month of the year and my 1 year old Chromebook crashed. I have a business so this is an emergency. I go to the geek squad counter (I have a membership) and the first employee to help me was terribly rude and it was clear, I did not have an appointment and he was not gonna fit me in or even bother with me at all. He was unable to send me away HUGE thanks to this incredible young man named Michael who was not gonna allow me to be turned away even with NO appt. Long story short this guy was about to make my day from bad to worse but Michael saved the day for me! This young man really should be considered for management because it is clear he has what it takes and truly cares! You don't find that anymore! Now I got to go get a brand new computer which is where Brian Wells comes in, he really made it easy for me to convert to a desk top with his knowledge, and patients. He truly helped me get everything I needed fast and back to business! This young man should get a raise. He is clearly dedicated to helping the customer get what they need and not worried about the amount you spend. You have some fantastic young men at your store! Hang on to them!

    Eric and Justin are REMARKABLE. They do MAGIC!!!! They are nice, kind, interesting, informative, smart, magicians!!!!!!!!! They figured out the system already configured in a house i recently purchased. I had others look at it and they could not get it to work. Eric and Justin figured it right out and got it up and running...MUSIC TO MY EARS! I cannot say enough about these two specialists. They are professional and a pleasure to work with. I am going to use the Geek Squad all the time now!!! Thank You Eric and Justin!!!! PS....They deserve a raise....you do not want to loose these talented gents!!!!!

    Thank you, Daniel for helping us out regarding Samsung TV we purchased. He was courteous, professional, knew his 5h1+ and did not try to see us anything else we did not need. Most of all, Daniel was very patient when we had to call our credit card company to verify the charge. You're the awesome, Daniel. Hope they give you an Employee of the Century award!

    Geek Squad repaired my PC

    I had a intermittent PC issue involving freezing irregularly and Geek Squad have repaired it. I have several points to talk about. The first is the pricing. I find the pricing of Geek Squad to be absolutely horrible. I went to a place called UbreakIFix, which would do a diagnostics for free and then charge you to actually fix it. They also immediately jumped into the problem and cared a great deal about the well being of my PC. Unfortunately, they did not have the tools to detect such a complex PC problem. Bestbuy charged $90 just for the diagnostics. Whether they find the problem or not doesn't matter, you still have to pay $90, which is very risk on intermittent problems. Second issue would be the personal attention. When I went to UbreakIFix they immediately jumped on the problem and did everything they could within hours of me dropping it off. I gave Geek Squad 4 days when the recommended time was 48 hours due to having a busy weekend planned. Each day I called in for a status report and it seemed they didn't even start it until the end of the third day. It's such a big company they really don't seem to care about your problem or the customer. The third and most prevalent issue is the communication. They lied to me several times and gave me tons of conflicting information. When I called in on the first day, they mentioned they were still running the diagnostics. When I called in the second day they told me the computer kept freezing during hardware tests. When I called in the third day they said it hasn't frozen on them the entire time they had it so they aren't sure what the problem is yet. During the final day, they called me explaining they found the problem and needed a green light to fix it, giving me a quota for a price. Turns out it was the wrong quota so they had to call me again to green light it again. Then they told me it was good to go and I could come early. I came early and sat there for an hour before they could help me, in which said it wasn't done and would take 30 more minutes. After 30 minutes I was told by a different person it would be ready in 30-45 minutes. I did end up getting it an hour early than my appointment but I literally sat there for 2 hours when they told me it was ready. Finally, I want to talk about the customer service. I'll start with the positive, the manager, James is a great guy. It was very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and seemed to actually care about his job. He is the only reason this is a 3 star review instead of much lower. If I was able to only chat with him, I would have had a much better experience. The second person I dealt with was literally the complete opposite. His name was Brandyn. Brandyn lied to me multiple times, wasn't capable of answering any questions, was super quiet, definitely didn't want to be there and had no care for my PC. I saw him dragging it along the table when he had to reposition it rather than lifting it up. It made me rather angry. I asked him how much of a downgrade swapping this GPU would be and his answer was, "I use this one and I like it" which didn't answer the question so I tried to ask a follow up and his answer was "I play Guild Wars 2" which is a 10 year old game and doesn't really pertain to the situation at all. Rather than asking someone who knows what he's talking about, like James, he just kept talking about nothing pertaining to the question until I stopped asking questions. I still don't know how much of a downgrade my new GPU is compared to the old one. As for the solution to the issue, I'm not entirely sure if its working yet. I tried it a bit tonight and it worked fine, but the game went down for maintenance to really test it so tomorrow I'll give it a full run. If it does work, then it deserves the three stars and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and rating it now. If it doesn't then I'd give this place 1-2 stars even with James' phenomenal customer service and knowledge. In short, Geek Squad charges too much for the lack of care and attention they seem to give to your problems and products. They will fix the issue and I'd only recommend them as a last resort and maybe try a less known company. It seems you're paying for the popularity more than the talent.

    Donald came to our home and set up our new TV and sound system, he did an excellent job and made sure we knew the operation of both systems before he finished. He was extremely professional, courteous, and made sure that we didn't have any unanswered questions. I would highly recommend this service to anyone. He was on time.
