Scheduled for onsite survey - security cameras
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received a phone call this morning about my scheduled appointment for an on site survey to prior to install of Nest security equipment. The tech knew nothing about Nest cameras, door bell. He stated he'd read the paper that came with the equipment. I know more about the cameras, etc. than he did. I explained we had questions about the equipment and placement. He also told me he could not recommend equipment, placement, etc. Recommendations are exactly why the store sales rep and managers suggested we have an on site survey. Needless to say, I told Clayton not to bother coming out if he can't do what is needed. Going elsewhere for my purchases and installation.

Poor Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After scheduling an appointment with the Geek Squad and SPECIFICALLY asking the person with whom I spoke on the phone if I needed 2 appointments for 2 phones (relatively simple - battery replacement only) and being told “NO” —- my daughter and I show up for our appointment and are told we can not get 2 phones done. We need a separate appointment for the 2nd phone. I ask to speak to the manager. I explained the situation and although friendly, Lakia tells me that even though I was mis-informed, I can not get the 2nd phone done. A manager’s job is to fix things for the customer when things go wrong due to the fault of the company. Bad business practice Lakia.

The BB dryer

I do not remember the name of the woman who helped me. It was near closing time and she rushed me through the sale, I assume it was because she wanted that commission. No one took the time to show how to work the machine, and I am still confused how to use it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.they did not. i simply needed a higher volume to my television and dvd player. i was sold a couple of items i did not need. they used my equipment and added additional remotes to my dismay. was using 3 remotes, then 2 after their first call. by their leaving the third time i was using 4 remotes. very, very annoying for a housebound eighty plus senior.

TV service

They couldn’t figure it out and the one said it needed replaced. I went into Best Buy and was told the warranties I bought basically aren’t valid. So what am I supposed to do with a tv I bought, with all the warranties offered and two geek squad members unable to fix it?

The customer service rep promised to call me back the same day but I have not heard from her. She said she could not manage the situation herself. Seems wrong that Best Buy cannot manage this technical problem that is in their own system.

Rude employee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My husband had an appointment to drop off his phone for a new battery at Best Buy, Daytona Beach We had to wait in line for about 10 minutes The employee who took care of us was so very rude. Not friendly at all and very condescending to both my husband and myself. We are very easy going. This young man never smiled, he was just so rude His name was Tyler, a Geek Squad member. Best Buy has no email or corporate number to call with complaints which is very annoying. Phone calls to the store go unanswered We are done with Best Buy

So we had things to do and we left. Sorry customer service, they should keep appts. Our time is just as valuable as theirs. A person shouldn't have to wait the whole day for their appointment. Ridiculous! Been waiting on Geek Squad to fix this for about 6 months or more.

I honestly wish that I would have read the reviews on you guys refund policy before spending my HARD EARNED money there. Be realistic. Who wants to wait a full week for a refund on a transaction that was instant when I was responsible for the money. The part that angers me most is blaming it on my bank, who deposits refunds instantly from other retailers. AFTER HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DURING INITIAL PURCHASE. No respect for customers time OR money.

Unacceptable Return Policy

Item was Bose headphones MSRP $199.00. Reasons given were purchaser had not bought an additional BEST BUY warranty when item was purchased, the item had been opened, and it is store policy that you only have 15 days to return an item and that period had expired. Reason for return is the headphones are not compatible with my computer and are therefore useless to me. My takeaway is that BB is only interested in taking people's money and could care less about customer satisfaction.

Geek Squad warranty claim on Eero units

After inspecting, I was informed that new replacement units would be ordered and installed free of charge. It has been over a month and I have not heard from Geek Squad or anyone from BestBuy since that day.

The shop rep just pretend she is busy and me and my husband just standing in front of the register desk of theater department for more than half hour and no one helping us!!! I was trying to talk with one, and she just saying she is busy and can’t help me with arrogant and impatient tone. I saw a lot of complain about this store! Guys! They are terrible person like I own them million dollars!!! Just don’t go this place anymore!

Geek squad did not do job for the requested purpos

Looks like the team did not have enough details when they came to my house. Even though I had paid amount for speaker fixing and remote control configuration few years back and due to covid this work did not completed by geek squad

Magnolia home theater and audio install

I received a phone call day of indicating that proper permits were not obtained and would need to reschedule. This has delayed our ability to install our drywall. I am not happy.
