Bad product

I called the manufacturer and they told me I was out of luck since it was 13 months old. Now, #2...and would you guess it, the same exact thing happened. I'll give it credit, it lasted about 16 months this time but I'm going to guess my phone call will result in the same exact thing. Sorry but it's out of warranty. I will be looking for a better option this time around and Homedics as a whole is nearly off my list of products to consider in the future.

Traded one problem others

After reading the reviews, I purchased two, one for both levels of my house. The humidifiers leave white dust all over the place and I have no idea why. I have extremely hard water which requires changing the filters weekly however, that has not alleviated the dust and cleaning issues at all.

Quality is cheap

I wasn't impressed with the quality of the buttons or the body. It's cheaply made. Giving it two stars because it did produce a lot of steam.
