It says "high" or "lo" if a temp that you read is past a certain level in either direction, but I want to know the TEMPERATURE. I wouldn't spend money on a thermometer knowing it would just tell me if a temp is high, thats for me to determine. I don't know how accurate it is, but it seems alright when measuring your temp.
