I can't say anything good about it. This wouldn't even stand up to my PS1 collection. Wait, there are Atari 2600 games better than this. Don't get me wrong, I liked the original. This one just has 0 appeal.

I preordered this game and paid $60 sumthing dollars, not only does the game suck but less than 2 months of getting it, it's now on sale for $39.99....I will not be preordering unknown titles again.

I bought this game without first checking online to see if it was any good. Needless to say it's awful full of bugs that are game breaking. That's to bad this could have been a good game.

I felt like they missed the mark with the first game. So I thought I'd give this a go hoping that they could find the mark. Boy was I wrong. This game is utter garbage.

This game is just not good. It is glitchy and slow to respond to movements. I was really let down as I hear such good things about it.

An OK game at best. You'll have more fun plan a FPS such as COD or Battlefield.

Not really sure why so many reviewers are bashing it with negatives while it has so many positives. The story itself wasn't bad at all (including it's pacing..). I liked developers' approach with modulation of the firearms. Pretty neat ). Also enjoyed the graphics [PS4 version]. Loved the art style direction and it had some pretty solid texture details [as long as you're able to tolerate occasional drops in FPS]. Overall a solid 4 !

Growing up and still residing in the Philadelphia area, I was super stoked and excited to see that Philly would be the final city setting for the final release of the game! Philly also plays the role of being the back-bone of the main, open-world map, and Storyline setting of where the game is located, and base around! This instantly made it very attractive to me just for it being played and set during a desolate, Invaded, War-Zone Stricken Philadelphia! The Idea and style of the gameplay is super unique whcih is a nice relief with sooo many similar game genre's being released nowadays! The clean, crisp, incredibly stunning HD Graphics and visuals, with a noticeable "Real-Life", smooth, and fluid feel to the gameplay! I haven't made it too far yet, but it's great already, and I've read and heard there's 30+hour's of single player storyline, and with the purchase of the season pass, "Which is a Def Must", there's even more missions and multiple hour's of DLC Story Mode choice!

Game starts out really good and fun. After playing for 4-5 hours, I started getting bored with the same missions over and over. Still worth playing, graphics are great, gameplay mechanics are pretty good overall, story is somewhat interesting.

Console blows like a leaf blower

First I would like to say that I have yet to finish the game at all, maybe about half way through since I like to spend time doing everything in each area before moving on. That said in the areas I have been my console sounds loud think Unity but constant. My device is now a year and a half old. Which makes playing the game not as fun because honestly if my pc constantly struggled to keep cool I wouldn't bother with a game. That is the only big fault I have found so far in the game. The small things like bike control is kinda... I wouldn't say clunky but it can make one ill on the movements. The story if you are into that is something that I actually am enjoying imo. Going stealth in this game is actually well done, going all out not so much. Upgrades so far do not see like they help you much maybe later end game I will notice a difference. Half way nothing so far. I also want to leave the review with this is the sort of game that could offer plenty of fun though sadly you don't really feel the need to must save the people/ take back the land like other games. Maybe if we had actual flash backs in fpp then we would get into that mind set. I am not attached I can turn the game off and go play something else sadly. I would recommend to a friend if I knew they would be able to look past what I mentioned before.

Getting lemon juice in a cut> This game

Whatever you do in your life, throughout your highs and your lows, no matter how much money you have or how much you may come into, whether you make a great investment in the stock market, or you win the Powerball, if you become the CEO of Apple or Microsoft, and they give you a bonus of $1 million each day you work there, do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER buy Homefront: The Revolution. Homefront: The Revolution is a current-gen video game released in 2016 and published by Deep Silver (who have a few nice games behind them). How this unpolished piece of software got past ANYONE who EVER touched it with even so much as their eyes is well beyond me. From the moment my console slid the disc into its mouth, it begin sputtering. The PS4 was making whirring noises that said to me, "What...I...I don't understand--what is in me?" I thought to myself, "Maybe it's loading some extra textures or something." Within 15 seconds of the game being launched, I quickly realized that there were no extra textures to be found anywhere within the vicinity of even the developer's (Dambuster Studios) headquarters. Upon starting the campaign, you are greeted with an intro video that lays out the backstory to the game. Immediately following that, you are treated to an in-game cutscene (treated is used ironically here) that lasts the entire duration of itself for too long. FINALLY, I thought. I can actually move around and play the game! NOPE. Opening credits. From me hitting "Start" to actually moving my character, it is probably 10 minutes. It is only then, upon me moving my character, that I realize that I would rather watch the intro video as a full movie. I don't think this game has ever heard of 30 FPS, because I can assure you it doesn't reach it at any point in the roughly 90 minutes that I played it (90 minutes that I could have watched about 3 full episodes of Glitter Force on Netflix). The controls in this game might be described by a website reviewer as "clumsy" or "clunky". No. The word I am going to use to describe the controls for Homefront: The Revolution is "cantankerous". "Andrew, what does cantankerous mean?" Well, bored reader, allow me to do a quick Google search for you. can·tan·ker·ous adjective bad-tempered, argumentative, and uncooperative. That's right. The controls for this game are all of the above. But that's just the start of my woes. The graphics. Holy sausage and biscuits. This game looks like an intern took the alpha files for an early PS3 game and said,"Hey. We need to make a new game for current-gen consoles. Want to use these?" This game is UGLY for a PS4/Xbox One era game. So you know how pretty much all games have a save feature, right? Well, H:TR decides that it needs to take every resource that the game is running on when it decides to save. You know what that means, right? The game freezes when it saves. THE GAME FREEZES WHEN IT SAVES. EVERY TIME. FOR SEVERAL SECONDS. It's like, "WHOA. HOLD THE PHONE. I SEE YOU DECIDED TO START A MISSION. I GOT YOU COVERED, BRO." Oh, did I mention that these are autosaves? That's right! You'll be minding your own business when...OH! I CAN'T DO JACK RIGHT NOW. I won't rant anymore, but I will finish with this: Homefront: The Revolution is definitely one of the worst games I've ever played (for 90 minutes, roughly) and without a DOUBT, the worst PS4 game I've ever played, and I played the Thief reboot! 1/10 would use as torture method for the CIA.
