One of those games where you will be playing the game and you will start to think"why am I playing this?".

The game overall is solid and pretty fun. There are some programming issues that make the experience not as great as it could have been though. Screen freezing while it autosaves is a real bummer as it can put you in a tight spot when it comes back out. Overall a solid game though.

This is OK game. It doesn't perform the greatest. The steelbook is was nice.

got it for super cheap.. like 10 bucks. so im not expecting too much

You'll hate some of the controls in this game. If you attempt to play this, I recommend playing on easy mode because I found normal mode to be hard. I'm a pretty average gamer (my k/d ratio is usually 1) if you need to know my skill set. Setting in this game is fascinating and "feels" realistic but mechanics are unpolished. Only played a few hours though.

I was looking forward to this game as I was a fan of the original homefront game. Unfortunately this game did not deliver on any of the things it promised. Graphics were subpar, game had a lot of bugs. Just not fun. Wait for it to go under $20. Only reason to buy at best buy is because of the exclusive steelbook cover but even that can't justify a purchase.

The story is nice but the system is a little flawed and repetitive

I would recommend buying this game. If you're into action shooters, this is a good title to pick up. It may not be game of the year, but it was an enjoyable title that I would say is worth picking up.

I played the original and was a fan. A few missions into this one and it is great so far. I like the concept of this game and hope that it gets better as I play. The only lagging that I see so far is during saves, which personally doesn't bother me

It was a fun game to play especially when you live around Philly. The graphics are not so bad it has a lot of details in the game. I really recommend this game if you like to play FPS game.

A good open-world FPS held back by a lack of polish

I jumped at the game because of the price and since it was the steel book. Practically a steal!! But the overall gameplay is decent. This game won't compare to any of the newer hits but if you are looking for a casual play.... here it is

The game is great. All the action really pulls you into the game. As a sequel to Homefront I did not know what to expect, but this is better than the original.

Despite the bad reviews, I feel like this game was worth the purchase for the dirt cheap asking price I got it for. The steel book is a nice addition too!
