The most important thing a person needs to know before purchasing a game and forking over the $60 for it is "Is the game fun?" To this question I answer yes, this game is fun, but there are still control issues and a choppiness that is not smooth. Besides the long loads screens and control issues, the game is fun enough to get hooked to by a rewarding campaign where modifying your weapons is an essential facet to the games development. The game itself is also long, so be prepared to put in 20+ hours. If you like a thinking man's shooter, you will for sure like this game. By no means can I compare this to Far Cry, but I can say it is totally good on its own. I too really enjoyed getting the exclusive steel book as well. An excellent touch to the design of the game's overall presentation.

Fun game. Graphics are decent. Kind of reminds me of farcry with health bar. Would be nice to be able to loot the weapons off of the enemy instead of ammo and such. Only had one bug where after completing a mission it went through its usual save and found myself stuck and couldnt move. Had to restart the game it was fine. No ability to manually save which is the only down part of the game.

For a change, a game with better multiplayer than single player. The multiplayer is lots of fun, though you will not always be able to get a full group. The campaign is not so good, it could use coop. It was made by Quicksilver who made previous Dead Rising titles. So the crafting and the looting is the same.

Very decent game.the open world is amazing and the game lets you use learned guerilla tactics to defeat a slew of armed forces.definately hours of shooting fun to be had with this game.

I pre ordered this game since I am a gamer's reward club member. If you like first person shooters you'll like this game. There are several objectives and "side missions" in the story mode. It does freeze briefly when you reach a checkpoint, however I am sure the first patch will fix this. I haven't played co-op yet so can not evaluate that aspect.

The storyline is intriguing, the US goes into economic ruin and loses its military prowess. Then is occupied. You are the resistance! Beyond the initial storyline, actual gameplay is not that impressive. Did not hold my interest like I thought it would.

This game doesn't have much on the great review side thus far but graphics are still good.

I am a big fan of the Far Cry games and this game feels like a Far Cry game. For that reason alone, I give it five stars. However, this game also has great characters, great weapon customization and is just all around fun.

But still fun! Hope it only gets better from here!

I played the first Homefront on xbox 360 and I really enjoyed it then and I am enjoying it now on the xbox one. the next gen graphics and gameplay are awesome. I guess playing this franchise will always be good for me since the 360

This game is ok. For the price I can't complain, but it is no Far Cry.

Fun but does have it's issues that take away from the fun. I found the game to be a decent shooter but not a Battlefield or Doom...but it is very enjoyable!

It doesn't look the best, doesn't play the best, but I find myself can't stop playing. It has good ideas it just wasn't detailed very thorough.

After putting some time into Homefront: The Revolution there is no way I would recommend anyone pick this title up. Bad graphics, muddy controls, and unlikeable characters just avoid at all costs.

This Game has gotten really bad reviews. For a game that was delayed, you would think it would be really good. IT has repetitive missions, The AI isn't the greatest either.
