Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This portable A/C does the job in my opinion Making it fit for the window is a challenge at first but once it’s placed I don’t see another problem with this A/C comes with a tube for draining for humid days and it works great , cools the room great as well it’s a tiny bit noisy but most portable ACs have some kind of noise at least , great quality as well , definitely seeing this as a long term product

The noise doesn't bother me or my husband, at first it was a little annoying but soon became background noise and we got used to it. Honestly it's way better than being hot while trying to sleep. Highly recommend for the price. Keeps our large bedroom cool and hopefully will help keep our electric bill down this summer.

Airconditioner leaks, and does not auto shut off

It would seem that it cannot be run without the dehumidifier on. The unit does not come with a drainage hose, it does NOT stop automatically when it fills up which is constantly, and it leaks all over your floor, ruined a portion of my hardwood floor, in the middle of the night it makes awful pinging, like break class. I could not recommend this product.

Bad bad not good

To start with the exhaust hose was not assembled and required brute force to get the adapters for the window and AC onto the hose. No insulation or foam for the window adapter, despite claims that this works best in an insulated space. The only thing thing that makes this “portable” are the wheels. Then there was the near complete lack of function. For about 15 blessed seconds it put out cold air while the fan rattled like the ‘93 Ford I had in Highschool. Then the air compressor would fully shut off, before coming back on with sound at the level of a passing freight train. This cycle repeated a few times before we gave up. Needless to say we returned this heavy, overpriced, energy suck for a window unit that is cheaper, more energy efficient, easier to install, and has smart phone control.

I gave this thing 4 days of troubleshooting/researching why it wasn’t blowing any cold air while also flooding my carpet if it wasn’t drained every 4-6 hours. It was set up correctly and the right size for my space, just not a good product. However, Best Buy made my return relatively effortless (I returned within their policy window). Great customer service, bad AC product

Stay Away From this Model

I bought this the day before we were about to have a stretch of dangerously hot weather and within the first day of use the unit began shutting off automatically indicating that the water pan was full and needed to be drained. This was happening every 45 minutes while being run on AC Mode. I called Tech Support and they told me the unit was busted and bring it back to the store.

The WORST AC .

It says that in humid weather the water has to be drained out. But that means once every 1-2hrs. I tried numerous methods to get over the water drain issue but nothing works. I will be returning this and would suggest no one buys this AC.
