It continued for 4 days. I called honeywell and they said sorry but it’s out of warranty. Tough luck-call an hvac company or small appliance repair. I’ve owned portable acs for 10 years and never had this problem. Do not waste your money!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1) The hose from the unit on the floor to my window isn't long enough so I had to find something to elevate it off the floor to reach. 2) the window bracket kit doesn't work. the screw with the butterfly clip that comes with the package doesn't hold it together at all. I too had to use duct tape to keep it together. 3) it didn't drain properly so I have water all over the flooring, which has ruined the flooring in the room. 4) I spent $$$ on a unit that I currently can't use until I can figure out how to keep it from leaking all over the flooring

Poor Quality! Only worked for a month...

It worked okay for a month and then one day we turned it on and it ran maybe 30 minutes then made a loud noise. We immediately shut it off and there was water in the area where the screen is on the back... poor quality! Total waste of money for something that only works for a month..

I’m draining this AC 10 times per day

I’m draining this AC, I’m not kidding, 10-12 times per day. It has an automatic shut off feature, so I’m constantly coming back to the room to find it off, needing to drain it, and re-cool the room. It’s also incredibly difficult to drain. The drain hole is at the very bottom, so the manual recommends using a thin sheet pan. Good luck carrying a liter of water spread out across a sheet pan to the nearest sink. Hope you have towels nearby! We purchased this portable AC because we have an old house and a dog that needs to be kept cool. I definitely won’t leave the dog home for an extended period of time knowing this unit is bound to shut off. It’s a heat wave this week and is extremely humid, but our other Honeywell PAC doesn’t have this issue. For $600, you’d think it would have pretty good self-evaporating technology.

Worked like a charm until a new air conditioning unit could be installed. Room sizes we used it for were 520 sq. ft. and smaller. Measure before you buy!

WORST PRODUCT OUT HERE

This is a joke of machine. I will wait for the one I have to come back in stock and get that. I am not paying $700 for something I have to use duct tape on to get it to work. This thing makes the loudest thumping noise I've ever heard. It's insanely loud. I wasn't expecting much, it's honeywell after all and honeywell is not known for quality anymore, at least their consumer products. Hopefully it'll cool the room at least temporarily.

Open box waste money

DO NOT BUY - MALFUNCTIONS AFTER 3 WEEKS

After 3 weeks of use it started shutting off the compressor and only running the fan which is essentially warm air. I am in the process of seeing if I can get it fixed but it is totally not worth the hassle considering the price point. I would highly recommend looking at other ones because I feel as though I wasted my money. I will add a follow up to see if I am able to get it he issue resolved.

Tired of being ripped off..

I am so tired of spending money at best buy and receiving poor products other than televisions. I want my money back or a full credit!
