    Nice unit, but smelled funny

    The unit is nice and seemed to work well. My only complaint is a funny plastic smell when in use.

    This humidifier would not work half the time no matter how I tried setting or resetting it. I finally gave up on it and returned it back to Best Buy.

    After working one day, it stopped working. It just says refill. The tank is full, and there’s nothing in the manual that mentions anything refill light.

      Thank you for taking time to post your comment. Please remove the water tank then remove and replace the float paddle on the bottom of the unit. You could also take the tank to the sink and push the plunger on the bottom of the water tank to ensure it is working properly. Be careful though, as this will release the water so be sure to do it over a sink (or empty the tank first).     I thought it was pretty good for that first month. Almost to the day 1 month after I bought it, it started leaking all over the floor. Now, it is flashing the "Check Filter" sign and won't turn on, Either there is something wrong with the float paddle that I'll have to fiddle with endlessly or I will have to spring for a new $10 filter every month. Either way, it's not what I wanted.

    We had our first daughter in an old 1930s home and that place was dry. Couldn’t have the baby coughing. Picked this up, great amount of moisture and wonderful breathability. We did lose the solenoid valve, well the kids did, and now we’re hunting to find that replacement.

    I bought 3 of these at one time. One of them would show at max humidity and would constantly turn off/on while the others were still running and matched the humidstats. The biggest problem is finding replacement filters. The instructions say replace every 30 days but they are impossible to find. Plus the filters get mold or something on the outside. I'm disappointed and wish I'd picked a different model.

    Bought this about 4 months ago, and it worked perfect for about 2 months. Now the up/down buttons for changing humidity level you have to push them multiple times to move even 1%. The "check filter" warning keeps flashing even after the filter is replaced. It reset the first time I replaced the filter, but it's been flashing ever since. They need replacing about every 40 days. Turning off machine or unplugging does not reset the warning. So now I just use my judgement when to replace filters.

    We have had this for 2 years. Loved it at first. Easy to fill and seemed to work great. W have had to change the filter several times trying to get this to work up to it's full potential. This season even with changing the filter 4 times it is only putting out about 1/3 what it did new!

    Useless without an external fan

    It had been on all day. The humidity had changed by 2% on the humidity gauges: from 49%-51%. The humidifier insisted that that the room was 69% humidity (69% IS THE HIGHEST IT WILL GO. THERE SHOULD BE A BIG RED WARING ON THE PRODUCT PAGE ABOUT THAT.) Apparently Best Buy wants $11.49 to take it back by mail. So I am looking for a solution that will make it more humid in the room so that I don't have to pay them to take back a piece of garbage that won't get to the relatively low 69% humidity. I have turned an air purifier at the humidifier. The terrible product sensor has come down significantly (to 63% in the last ten minutes). MY VIEW OF HONEYWELL IS NOW TOTALLY CHANGED. What surprise can I expect in my next Honeywell Purchase. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.
