Q: Is this a new product as of 2017? Can it be set on the floor?
A: Yes, the footprint is tall and narrow, so it would go on the floor. However, several reviews (including mine) say it is prone to leaks, so I would be careful using it on a hardwood floor without a pan to sit it in.
A: I pulled that bobber out of the unit and placed it back in. Started right up. The bobber comes straight up, only attached on two hinge point, right and left of the little plastic bar in the back.

A: We haven't been able to find a single replacement filter either this year. I finally resorted to trimming a universal filter and it seems to work just fine.
Q: Where in a room is the best place to place the humidifier?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. It is best to place this unit at least a foot away from any walls or furniture, allowing for plenty of air circulation to happen around the unit. We would advise keeping it away from windows or sources of dry heat, as that can dry the filter out faster. Q: Water tank cracked and dripping. Can I buy a new one and where?
A: Same thing happened to mine, thanks to the mysterious household gremlins (kids who dont admit....). I just taped it with some clear packing tape and you can barely even see it. Been going strong for 4 months without leaks
A: The instruction manual states 1.7 gallons. Just set up my new humidifier. Had to call customer service as there is no water fill mark on the tank. Customer service rep said to fill the tank within 3-inches of the top. He also mentioned that the capacity is 1.7 gallons.
