Love this humidifier! It is so easy to fill, it tells you what the room humidity is, and it brings the rooms humidity up very quickly. The only drawback is the Honeywell filters are rather expensive.

Love this product except the frequency required and money necessary to change the filter. If I am lucky and care for it well it will last a month. Additionally after having this for awhile I will notice in the am the water hasn't reduced. I will have to take the container out and replace which then allows the water to flow.

I need a logical reason for doing things. Therefore, when I make a purchase, I do my research compared to our needs. We had a small humidifier, and keeping it filled was a nuisance. So, large capacity was a "must." For ease of filling, I preferred a top-loading machine. (Why "they" don't make more machines with a hole in the top, I don't know!) I wanted a humidistat so we could set the humidity we wanted. My wife is a "germaphobe," so that was also a consideration. For that reason, a filter seemed desirable. (There is no such thing as a "perfect" machine.) This unit meets all our needs. 1 1/2 gallon capacity, easy to fill and carry, quiet, and humidistat. We are very happy with our choice, and recommend it highly. From my research, it seems Honeywell provides good customer service, should you need it. Price against other units with similar features is very good.

Probably about the largest evaporatve humidifier I've seen, standing at just about 2ft tall. But for a unit this big, the wicking filter is smaller than I expected, and I was concerned that it would not be as effective. But so far it seems to work pretty well. On high fan speed the noise is fairly quiet, but still... it's a fan, and it's audible. I don't feel like I have to turn up the TV though to hear it over the fan noise. On the low fan speed, you can barely hear it at all. The best part, and what was one of the key features for me is the ease of refilling. No sticky knobs to unscrew, and the tank can stand upright on its own. It is a tall tank, so won't fit easily in most sinks, but the beauty is ; it doesn't have to fit in the sink. The top of the tank doesn't seal closed in any way, if you're concerned about that, but not a concern for me.

I have very dry eye and needed a humidifier and this one has a larger canister so it lasts all day. The only down side is the filters are expensive but they last for a while. You do need to rotate the filter daily to keep it moist.

I had this running all last season Seemed to do it's job of putting water in the air and making my bedroom easier to breath in. But it had also been putting water into my carpet underneath the entire time, which became apparent once I moved the unit and the nearby bookshelf to do some rearranging last month. The bookshelf looked fine until you flipped it over and it was rotted out and completely moldy. I used a blacklight to see the path it took from where humidifier sat (and a ring of pink around the unit). Attached pictures show the amount of water that leaks over one night, after finding this out and testing in a plastic tub to capture everything - along with the bookshelf damage and floor mold under UV Honeywell offered me a refund on the unit but refused to compensate any further. I would COMPLETELY AVOID, or at the very least check your unit daily for issues because it is not obvious.

The old school method of a wicking filter still works for a humidifier. I have a new style with an electronic emitter and this Honeywell will be stored over the summer while the three year old fancy emitter will go into the recycle. No need to use distilled water to keep from having white film on everything, no $30 special filter every month. A $10 filter that you can find locally and tap water keeps the humidity up in our dry house.

I'm an asthma patient of 30 years. When I turn on the heater during the winter time, my room becomes very dry and my asthma acts up. This thing was a god send. Of course it's not a cure, but considering how big my room is and how fast it can humidify my room, it's definitely top notch. I wish it had a larger filter, and a better filter, it would've gotten 5 stars, that would be my only complaint. Of course it's advertised as a humidifier not a air filter, so I can't complain too much. I've used other humidifiers, this is a top performer.

I got this product for my newborn son. This is our first winter with baby. Pros: Easy to install....easy to fill...everything automatic. Hygrometer built inside. Automatic humidity adjustment. Cons : Little noisy.....u just feel in the late mid night.

Moved into a new house and have discovered it gets very dry in the house during the colder season. Been waking up with a dry throat and bloody noses. Decided I needed to get a humidifier or two to combat the dry air. I wanted a humidifier that wouldn't leave a puddle on the floor, turn off when it hit a certain humidity, and would turn off if it runs out of water. This humidifier doesn't leave puddles of water, has a nice nightlight feature, and can hold a good amount of water. The major downside for me is it's loud, it's a constant sound that I'm finding annoying. I'm not a person who wants white noise, but if you're someone who likes a fan for the noise this humidifier would do that. The humidifier isn't where I sleep so I could probably overlook the constant noise, but what I can't overlook is that it does not turn off when it reaches the programmed humidity level, which the product advertises that it does.

This is a great humidifier. It is easy to fill, gives the percentage of humidity in the air, and let’s you set the output. Only downfall is you have to change the filter every 30 to 45 days depending on use and it gets a little costly. But it has helped with my congestion so it’s worth the money

I bought this product as soon as the heat had to be turned on. I love the large capacity tank as we do not have a central humidifier attached to our heating unit. We use it in the baby's room and it will last 2-3 days filled at 50% humidity. The price was also very reasonable.

I am enjoying my new humidifier. Setup was easy. Seems like high quality construction. Very easy to use. The water take lifts out easily and doesn't drip. The digital controls are very nice. Really enjoy the digital humidity display.

We've always have taken our doggie to the Ocean. He has a heart murmur that comes with a cough. Each time we go we noticed that the coughing almost stopped...its the humidity that was helping. Looked on line found these are one of the best for the money, brought it home stopped 80% of the cough. Amazing !!!

Good humidifier for the price. Easy to use and fill. Wish the filters were a bit cheaper, they don’t last long. Only use genuine filters, others will break your humidifier

We had one of these models already and really liked the top fill feature. It was a good thing I stocked up on filters when Walmart put on clearance last year because I haven't been able to find a single replacement filter this season. After running out of all the filters I had purchased last year, I finally tried trimming a universal filter and that is working out well. I have a couple more circular filters left from a humidifier from years past that looks as it can be cut up to work as well. Good humidifier, Honeywell but you need to keep replacement filters on the market as I have spent a lot of time looking for.

Works great easy to fill no more trips to the kitchen sink, only problem is the filter (wick) is hard to find or TOO expensive.

Was looking for a humidifier for my room. I like this because it has a larger water tank capacity than most model. The Touchscreen keypad is also a nice feature.

Works really well. Like the humidity control built in.

Easy to set up and use. Straight forward controls and easy to fill water reservoir. Very quiet in the low and medium fan speeds. Raised the humidity in the living area very quickly.
