I would suggest this product to any one who has allergies .

Do not buy this purifier. It is an overpriced piece of trash! In less than a year, both units we purchased began making a loud, rattling sound that continued to get louder the longer they ran. (Even after cleaning, the noise persisted.) The washable filters also do not come fully clean, or smell as crisp and clean after being washed. We contacted Honeywell directly, and they sent us one courtesy replacement that ended up doing the exact same thing. After several rounds with them and a report to the Better Business Bureau, they are refunding us for the 2 units purchased, as Best Buy wouldn't do anything at all, even with a protection plan. The Honeywell HPA100/HPA200 purifiers are much nicer and more efficient!

My husband and I love our fan! But you cannot get the replacement filters at the store! You have to order online. I like ordering things online but would much rather get the parts in person! That’s just how I have always been. Otherwise, great fan!!

I could not find this info online despite searching. buried in middle of owner's manual it says this product releases ozone. They claim it's not much but do not cite any scientific study showing it is safe. Yes, it also has HEPa filtration, but don't buy this product and pay extra for the ionizing which can harm you. Facts are: "How is Ozone Harmful? The same chemical properties that allow high concentrations of ozone to react with organic material outside the body give it the ability to react with similar organic material that makes up the body, and potentially cause harmful health consequences. When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and throat irritation. Ozone may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections. People vary widely in their susceptibility to ozone. Healthy people, as well as those with respiratory difficulty, can experience breathing problems when exposed to ozone.
