Replaced an older Honeywell thermostat. This one is easier to use as opposed to teh one that came with the house. Make sure you read the instructions or watch videos on the install. It is fairly straight forward to install but the wiring may be a little tricky depending on what kind of furnace you have. Again, make sure you know what type of setup you have but otherwise, its a nice thermostat and easily to set up.

OK product if that is what you are after. Installation was pretty easy if you know what you are doing and have the C wire. There are a few things I don't like. 1) Size - From the picture, it looked like a large unit, but honestly it's tiny. The problem is the text can be hard to read if you don't have good eyes. Moreover the resolution on the screen is pretty trash IMO. 2) touch screen - I initially thought this was a capacitive touchscreen like all other modern devices, but no, this is resistive. It is really hard to interact with. 3) Crappy Build it OS - I think it might be running a crappy embedded linux or something. The interface is crappy. It only support touch. No scrolling or swipe or anything modern. Everything must be one press. 4) App - The app is OK, but definitely not user friendly. The interface looks outdated and the response is pretty slow. If you want something that gets your heating and cooling online, then this is it. But if you want something fancy, then you need to go with Nest or Ecobee or some other bigger name.

Thermostat looks good and was extremely easy to install. Works great, the instructions for installing and programming are simple. Was also easy to sync with Alexa.

I bought this thermostat to replace a programmable non-wifi Honeywell unit that I have had for about 7 years. The thermostat is a great in that it can be controlled remotely via the Honeywell app; however, the app setup was a bit tricky in that it didn't register my thermostat during the initial setup. In fact, it took several attempts to connect it to my account. Now that it is connected, I am very pleased. I like the fact that one can change the color of background to match interior décor. The outdoor weather feature is nice although I don't really find myself looking at the thermostat to determine the outside weather conditions that often. Overall, I am really impressed with this Honeywell product.

I bought two of these as part of the Energy Rebate program. I've had them in place for nearly a year and not a problem at all. Simple, easy to use, works very well with Smartthings. Highly recommended!

Works great. App is very user friendly. Save heating and cooling costs when you can change the temp remotely. I also like the monthly reports that Honeywell emails.

This has many features for advanced HVAC including multiple heating and cooling stages. It is smart that it works with cell phones, but its not a learning thermostat anything past typical PID control logic to my understanding. The PID, stage delays, and allowable hysteresis are not adjustable in any way. Its a bit silly that you can adjust your wall color but not these important items. Keeping its logic and control internal makes me a lot more confident than in a product like Nest where it may stop working if the company decides to discontinue service. The wall holes match my existing Honeywell day 7 programmable thermostat.

Don’t know how I lived without it. Easy to install as long as you make the proper preparations. Take plenty of pictures. Once installed, it is very easy to use and convenient.

Great WiFi Thermostat. Able to control temperatures away from home from my tablet or cell phone. Easy replacement with existing manual Honeywell Thermostat.

I love this thermostat! I have a Dot, so a voice command changes the temperature easily and I can control it even when I'm away from the house.

It is easy to install and easy to handle. It is the perfect compromise between using a schedule and adapting the setup at the moment, either in-house or remotely.

Feature packed. Love having a smart thermostat. A bit of a pain getting a c wire to our burner, but once that was installed, set up was OK. Had some issues getting it to connect to my WiFi,once connected haven’t had any issues. Setting up a schedule is super easy, and I like having the app on my phone to change temperature. Love that I can tell Alexa to change temp too. I love the extra features such as outdoor temp, humidity etc and also that you can change the color on the screen.
