The price of convenience

But even though it offered a work around for the c wire. It was highly recommended that we didn't go that route. We wound up spending 200 to have a new wiring run. But other than that issue it's working great. Mind you it's only been 2 weeks. But to be able to just ask Alexa to adjust the temperature is worth it!

I only have a heating furnace and a 2 wire system which has no common power wire, returned to store to purchase Google Nest learning thermostat which was more money but was a breeze to set up on two wire system.

Easy to use thermostat

However, the original thermostat was on the top floor, and anytime I needed to adjust the temperature for where I was in the unit, I had to trudge up and down multiple staircases in order to do so. Having an app where I can adjust the thermostat over my phone has made this so much easier. I would definitely recommend.
