It cools the air and does move it, but doesn’t blast it at full speed the way a traditional fan does. Classic fans rush too much air past my eyes and dry them out which ultimately causes me to fall asleep but this one just lowers the temperature will providing a gentle cold breeze. It’s a much welcomed technological advancement,
