Honeywell - QuietSet Oscillating Whole Room Tower Fan HYF290B - Black

It works great. You can hear sound in the middle of the night on high but overall it is fairly good. You’re not gonna get as much air as one that looks from the 90s the circular fan type, but it is good enough for a small special setting. I had purchased a different fan at a different store and realized that this one from Best Buy is much quieter. The only con is that with the other. It is priced cheaper and has an app that you can use for your phone and in the middle of the night. When it’s dark, that is a pro to have. Therefore, I took away a star for it’s price, and the fact that this brand is missing that technology feature. It is a tiny quieter then the other brand.

I am very pleased with the Honeywell QuietSet Fan. Set up was a breeze and it is very sturdy. My favorite setting is White Noise which is low enough as the temperature cools, But I am sure I will get used to all the other settings. It’s so nice to have a choice other than high, medium and low. Having an option to turn the night light off is great because the blue light bothers my husband. We replaced an old fan that we had for 15 years and what a difference this one makes, with the technology. Another plus is having an option of a timer with options of one, two, four or eight hours. Very pleased with the purchase.

Had a heat wave for a few weeks so it gave us a excuse to buy a fan for the living room. It’s super quiet and has plenty of levels to adjust. The remote is handy but you have to point it directly at it but still better than getting up to walk across the room to adjust the fan. Great fan works well

Awesome fan! It has 8 Modes: Sleep, Whisper, Calm, White Noise, Relax, Refresh, Cool, and Power Cool! It was actually able to cool the air! It’s not necessarily an Air Conditioner, but it cools the air quite a bit. It rotates like any other fan. It also has a very convenient remote to command the fan from afar. It has a timer. It’s able to circulate and cool air between 1 hour and 8 hours. This is an exceptional fan and even though Fedex inconvenienced me (like always), it was all worth it because this fan is outstanding!

It's a very powerful as well as quiet fan. While it does have a "cool" & "power cool" setting it's not intended to operate like a traditional AC unit. The air coming out definitely feels cooler than the room air to me. This is the second one we've purchased in the last couple of years as we love it. We purchased while on sale which was an extra bonus.
