    We needed a fan to help get us through the hotter months. While we still have one month to go, it has proven to be exactly what we hoped for. It provides a very good flow that we can set for one of us to enjoy to the maximum or, when we are both in the family room, the rotate function allows us to share the cool air. The remote saves us from having to get up to switch modes and power it on as well.

    Pros: Multiple speed settings and easy to setup. Cons: Lower settings don't circulate air very well and fan gets much louder at higher speeds.

    Overall this is a great fan. My sole complaint is that (for me) it needs to be at about a 6 or 7 (of 8 speeds) to generate much cooling. Others may see better results, as I have the fan in a very hot room.

    Been searching for a fan that can run off my smarthome outlet - this one also is not compatible. Resets every time you turn it off. Need to use the buttons on the device or remote to choose a setting every time (no memory).
