The remote was super handy but now I can't stand to use the thing, has a very loud and obnoxious chirping sound. I'd recommend buying anything else for the money.

It's timer is very efficient, especially during the night time. Sleep mode is a bit noisy but I usually go above sleep mode even during the night.
