I can see from anywhere but this doesn’t keep humidity down in the basement like my previous models. All of the brands I have tried over the last 30 years only seem to work for about 2 years then they no longer pull enough moisture so you throw them away brand new. Wish they would make a rechargeable one.

So far so good! Easy to use and the wifi feature is convenient. Hopefully it will last 15yrs.

It does its job efficiently. If you do not have water bin connected through hose, then you will be emptying it multiple times during the day.

Texas Garage Workspace Unit. Great for my needs.

I also do some light work for maybe 1-3 hours per day. Being around Houston, TX with ridiculous outdoor humidity, this unit has been great so far. It’s probably overkill for the size of the garage, but it will probably be less overworked. I do plan on insulating my garage doors and properly sealing some holes to reduce radiant heat, but in terms of humidity, you can notice the difference compared to outside. I just need to install the external hose drain as sometimes I do forget to empty the reservoir as the unit will stop once full. Overall, I’m pleased with the unit and will be using it a lot.

Dehumidifier kicks mold/mildew in the rear end

I put this unit on at night, you can barely hear it. Only issue is that the night/sleep mode turns off the light at the top of the unit, not in front of it. And since there’s a lot of moisture in my 800+ Sq Ft apartment I have to empty out the water basin a few times even though it covers 4000 Sq Ft
