The only draw back is it has a short drainage tube that comes with it. Get a garden hose, to attach to the unit for continuous drainage. Make sure it is not longer than 15 feet because it will drain back into the bucket. Other than that it works great. Love the wifi set up with the app.

Running with a drain hose attached. Runs near constantly. Not using the smart features at this time. I wish that this unit would have come with a printed manual. Had to find the manual online and download. The only thing that I've noticed is that humidity sensor on the unit and the humidity sensor that I have on a table in basement differ by a few percentage points. Right now I'll say excellent quality, but will see how long the unit lasts.

Good concept...returned due to defect

The circuitry would not activate the compressor unless it was operating in the high fan mode. I really like the humidity read-out on the side...large illuminated numbers. Ultimately exchanged for one that had a pump to remove the water. The Honeywell models have the longest warranty.

When I first started to use this, it started to spit water out of the top. I am not sure why as I was using the drainage hole so there should not be any built-up water. It has recently stopped doing this.

The only improvement would be to strengthen the hose connection on the continuous drain. The drain hose connects to the to the unit via a pressed on hose connection. It can easily pull off. Either a clamp to secure the hose, or a screw on hose would be preferable.

Out old one had let the humidity get up there so it took this one a few days to bri g it down, but has kept it steady since we got it. Wish it had some features, like being able to turn it off for a few hrs in the morning and have it turn itself back on, but if it has that feature, it is difficult to find it.
