Started it in the evening humidity was 88% in a 1100 square foot basement. Set it to 40% and the next day my basement was already down to the set point. Worked fast and has held at 40% steady. Very pleased so far.

After it was taken out of package I was deciding but my husband went down and thought it would be nice to set up. So we now have a unit much larger than we need but it does work nicely. We did not need the WiFi part.

Overpriced for a cheap short-lived product

It sat undisturbed in the basement and is very clean. It's just poorly made (but it made it past its 1 year warranty) and other budget low-reliability imports are about 30% cheaper.

Not so quiet or easy to position dehumidifier

This makes it impossible to position unless you have a drain right near an outlet. And the directions state (do not use this appliance with an extension cord). Also, the instructions say to run it on 30% high fan for the 1st 3 days to bring down your humidity. I had to run mine for 8 days before it made a difference in the humidity level. Also, the description says it’s quiet. It is not quiet. If you spend time in your basement, it will definitely be an issue as I can hear it on the floor above where it is positioned. I do enjoy the WiFi feature because I can check and control everything from my phone

It crashed in October. Flashing lights, and slow fan speed. I called customer support, they sent me a new one within two weeks.

I haven't noticed too much of a difference in the room temperature since the dehumidifier blows out so much hot air that it actually feels like it's hotter then before I turned it on. I do feel the difference in the humidity level though.
