Fan runs all the time

It runs 24 hours a day, every day. The manual says the fan should cut off 3 minutes after the compressor stops (having reached the desired humidity level). No one at Best Buy seemed to know if the manual was wrong or the product was broken. Best Buy allowed me to return the item.

Posted .We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you because of this unit. We wish you had spoken to us, before returning the unit. Our customer support team would have been able to troubleshoot for you. There is a 5% threshold when the desired humidity setting has been reached. The
compressor will shut off once the relative humidity is 5% lower than your desired setting. The fan will
continue to run for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor and will then shut off. Operation restores once
the relative humidity is 5% higher than your desired setting. That could explain why you felt that the fan never shut off. As Powerful As Larger Dehumidifiers

However, I wish clearer instructions were provided as to how to properly connect the product to Wi-Fi.

Great at removing moisture

Compared to other dehumidifiers I have owned seems to throw off more heat. Basement warms up when dehumidifier runs for some time.

Extremely quiet

I've got it in the basement and have hardwood floors upstairs--and I can't hear it running at all. What a relief from my old noisy dehumidifier which just about drove me crazy, especially when I was wearing hearing aids. I hooked it up to a drainage hose and have just let it hum right along, taking care of business.

The one we had worked find for about 3 years. It was a smaller dehumidifier so we hooked up a hose because it run more. This one being larger really helps alot.

When the dehumidifier is switched on, a fan pulls moisture-laden air into the dehumidifier where it passes through dehumidifying coils inside the unit. These coils condense moisture from the air and collect it in the water tank. The dry air is then exhausted from the dehumidifier.
